Souhegan continues steady climb in New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Field Hockey Coaches Poll

For the third week in a row, the Souhegan High School field hockey team continued its ascent up the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Coaches Poll.

After the coming in ninth in the preseason poll, the Sabers have moved up to the top five in this week’s poll. Bedford, despite suffering its first loss of the season, held on to the top spot, getting eight first-place votes.

Londonderry received three first-place votes and moved up two spots to No. 2 while Keene dropped one spot to No. 3. Pinkerton also fell one spot to No. 4, but did pick up one first-place vote, while Souhegan moved up one spot to round out the top five.

Winnacunnet jumped two spots to take sixth in the poll while Oyster River held on at No. 7. Dover fell three spots to No. 8 while Salem jumped into the top 10 for the first time this year, coming in at No. 9. John Stark remained at No. 10 for the second week in a row.

5. Souhegan (7-0), 52, 6th

Dropped Out: Timberlane.
