The Bedford High School baseball team slugged its way to a 15-7 win Monday over Spaulding in a rematch of last season’s Division I championship game.

Grant Lavigne led the Bulldogs (4-2) on offense going 3 for 3 with three home runs, including a three-run homer in the second that helped Bedford take a 6-3 lead. The sophomore also walked twice and drove in five runs.

Connor Lee also had a two-run homer for Bedford while Connor Collins and Liam Greene added multiple hits. Cooper Anibal picked up his second win of the season on the mound.

Boys Tennis: Bedford 9, Keene 0

The Bulldogs improved to 9-0 in Division I with a sweep of the Blackbirds. Zack Gould picked up the win at No. 1 singles for Bedford and Ian Horne was a winner at No. 2, while the pair also teamed up to take the No. 1 doubles match.

Andrew Allen (No. 3), Mike Soucy (No. 4), Derrick Salvatore (No. 5) and Jason Boucher (No. 6) were also singles winners for Bedford. Allen and Soucy won the No. 2 doubles match and Salvatore and Boucher took the No. 3 match.

Girls Tennis: Bedford 9, Keene 0

The Bedford girls remained undefeated at 6-0 with a sweep of the Blackbirds.

Anli Zhang was the winner at No. 1 singles for Bedford while Abby Ramsay (No. 2), Maylene LaPress (No. 3), Emily Thompson (No. 4), Savannah Nimmo (No. 5) and Erica Greiner (No. 6) were 8-0 winners in their singles matches.

Ramsay and Zhang won the No. 1 doubles match while LaPress and Thompson won at No. 2 and Nimmo and Greiner took the No. 3 match.
