About

NH-HighSchoolSports.com is an independently owned and operated website that covers high school sports in New Hampshire, specifically football and field hockey in the fall, basketball in the winter and lacrosse in the spring.

While there have been many people who have helped out over the decade-plus of the site’s existence, it is a full-time staff of one that runs the site. The first idea for the site was conceived in 2005, and after some years of planning, the first post went up on Jan. 22, 2010; as of this writing, there have been more than six thousand posts, and that number will continue to grow.

A big reason I’ve been able to continue running this site is the number of people who have signed up for memberships over the years and seasons. Not only does a membership give you access to the site’s content, it also allows me to keep it going. You can learn more about memberships by going to this page.

You can also follow the site on social media. Give us a “like” on Facebook. And don’t forget to follow us on Twitter, where you’ll not only get links to new content, but also in-game updates. Check out our photo album at Smugmug and see game highlights and other videos on our YouTube channel.

If you are interested in getting email updates from us, you can signup right here.

I’ve covered sports in some way or another for over 20 years, starting in college at The Pitt News, the student-run newspaper at the University of Pittsburgh. After graduating, I also worked at a handful of other newspapers, including the Corbin (Ky.) Times-Tribune, the New Castle (Pa.) News, the Milford (N.H.) Cabinet and the Nashua (N.H.) Telegraph.
