Across the Granite State: Thursday’s Roundup

The Bishop Guertin High School boys lacrosse team got goals from 13 different players Thursday in a 17-6 win over Bedford.

Brian Cameron led the way for the Cardinals (12-2) with three goals and seven assists, while Drew Hailey had two goals and two assists. Brennan McInnis and Sam Prunier also had two goals and an assist each while Sean Cameron had a goal and two assists.

Jordan Caito and Ben Abladian had a goal and an assist each while Anthony Priest, Alex Koutsos, Mason Carroll, Nathan Binette and Christian Trahan also scored. Cameron Erasmi added an assist.

Colin Casey and James Heitmiller combined for 10 saves, while Trahan was 16 of 20 on faceoffs.

Bedford (9-6) got goals from Ryan Toscano, Gannon Lowrie, Stewart Kirkpatrick, Kyle Fink and Brandon Howe, while goalie Sean Tierney also scored and made nine saves.

Exeter 13, Nashua South 7

The Panthers got four goals from Sean Holland, but it wasn’t enough against the Blue Hawks.

Shane Puleo added two goals and two assists for South (5-9) while Devin Linscott had a goal and two assists.

Garrett Fleury and Joe Bodi each had an assist and Nate Radin made nine saves.

Baseball

Souhegan 10, ConVal 4

The Sabers took the lead early, jumping out to a 5-1 advantage through two innings, and never looked back against the Cougars.

Bryce Reagan homered twice and Alec Burns also went deep and had a two-run single for Souhegan (11-1). Max Benevides added a home run of his own while Daniel Trzepacz had a two-run double and Liam McGrath also drove in two runs.

Tucker Aiello got the win, going the distance while allowing four runs on nine hits with five strikeouts. Benevides, Caelan Behn and Jacob Grassett played well defensively.
