DURHAM – The Goffstown High School field hockey team used its practice time before Tuesday’s playoff game wisely.
The Grizzlies tweaked one of their penalty corners, and when they were in need of a goal against Oyster River, it worked.
Maggie Jorczak took a pass from Grace Murphy and moved a little bit to her right before firing a shot that found its way into the back of the cage, and No. 9 Goffstown made the goal stand up, as the Grizzlies knocked off the No. 8 Bobcats 1-0 in the Division II preliminary round.
