NASHUA – When two high school pitchers are locked in like Bedford’s Trevor Anibal and Portsmouth’s Ryan Minckler were on Tuesday, you get the feeling it’s going to take something incredible or crazy to break a stride.

The latter ended up playing to the sixth-seeded Bulldogs’ favor, as they used a lucky bounce and an outstanding effort from Anibal to take a 1-0 win over the 10th-seeded Clippers in the Division I semifinals at Holman Stadium. Bedford will play No. 4 Londonderry in Monday’s D1 title game at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester.
