Around the Granite State: Saturday’s Roundup
Katie Martin pitched a complete game to help lead the Bedford High School softball team to an 11-3 win over Keene.
Martin struck out seven in seven innings while Caitlin Fletcher was 2 for 3 with a triple and three RBIs and Jacque Harrington was 3 for 3 with a double and three runs. Erin Murphy added a double and drove in two runs and Audrey Pederson was 2 for 4 with two runs scored.
Also having big offensive days were Erica Barley, who had three hits, including a double and a home run, and Madison Fraizl, who also homered.

Boys Lacrosse
Souhegan 15, Merrimack 1
Thomas Horner led the Sabers with three goals, as they improved to 2-0 with a big win over Merrimack.
Tyler Hall, Foster Burnley, Nick Jordan and Trace Hennas added two goals apiece for Souhegan while Drew Pollio had a goal and two assists. Ethan Hopey and Luke Civiello had a goal and an assist each and Julian Whitter also scored.
Burnley, Jack Manning, Sam Ezequelle, Palmer Belowski and Finley Morgan played well defensively while Alex Burnley made nine saves.
