Around the Granite State: Souhegan boys lacrosse gets back on track
AMHERST – The Souhegan High School boys lacrosse team turned in another big offensive performance Saturday, beating Nashua South 18-3 in a Division I contest.
The Sabers (2-1) got five goals and five assists from Brendan Cray while Joe Nutting had four goals and an assist and Zach Bossi had two goals and four assists. After dropping the first game of the season to Exeter last Monday, Souhegan has outscored its last two opponents 33-3.
Robert Duarte also had two goals and an assist for the Sabers while Foster Burnley and Thomas Horner had a goal and an assist each. Kyle Archambeault, Trace Hennas and Nicholas Jordan also had a goal each and Alex Burnley made three saves.
South (0-2) got two goals and an assist from Shane Puelo while Zack Clancy had a goal and Collin Morrow had an assist. Nate Radin made four saves.
