Around the Granite State: Spring sports in full swing
Here’s a look at what went on Monday in New Hampshire high school sports.
NASHUA – The Nashua High School North boys lacrosse team opened the regular season by holding off Salem for an 8-7 win on Monday at Stellos Stadium.
Todd Redman led the way for the Titans (1-0), scoring a goal and adding six assists as North rallied three times in the first half to make it a 5-5 game at halftime. The Titans went up 7-5 in the third quarter and held off the Blue Devils (0-1) in the fourth.
Brendan Martin and Tyler Dubien each had three goals for North, while Salem got two goals each from Drew Hailey, Matt Ayotte and Nick Gore.
