The Hollis Brookline High School boys volleyball team won its seventh match in a row with a 3-0 win over Dover on Wednesday. The Cavaliers won 25-14, 25-9 and 25-18.

Jacob McGettigan led HB (7-1) with 24 service points and two aces while Nick Wood had 12 kills and six digs and Brett Belden had 10 kills and five digs. Scott Van Coughnett chipped in with 20 assists.

Softball: Milford 8, Goffstown 3

The Spartans handed the Grizzlies their first loss of the season thanks in part to the hitting and pitching of Delaney Parker.

Parker had a three-run home run to cap a six-run fourth inning for Milford (6-2), and after allowing three runs in the first two innings, held Goffstown (7-1) scoreless the rest of the way. Carley Holtshouser also had a big day at the plate, driving in three runs.

Softball: John Stark 12, Hollis Brookline 6

The Cavs lost their fourth in a row despite a solid offensive effort from Natalie Paquin and Steph Buchanan, as each went 2 for 4. Buchanan also had a solo home run while Kenzie Day had two RBIs.

Olivia Lukovits pitched well in relief, striking out three and allowing an earned run.

Baseball: Bedford 4, Concord 3

The Bulldogs jumped out to an early lead and held off the Crimson Tide late to win their seventh in a row. Concord loaded the bases three times in the late innings, but Bedford was able to escape with the win.

Cooper Anibal improved to 3-0 on the year by allowing one run and striking out three over four innings, while Joey Barrett earned the save. Connor Collins and Grant Lavigne each had two hits for Bedford (8-2).

Baseball: Alvirne 9, Bishop Guertin 2

Matt McKinley used his arm and his bat to help the Broncos improve to 8-2 with a win over the Cardinals.

McKinley pitched seven innings, striking out five, and also had two hits, while Danny Brown drove in four runs for Alvirne. Pat Rauseo added three RBIs in the win.

Boys Tennis: Bedford 9, Dover 0

The Bulldogs swept the Green Wave to improve to 9-0 on the season. Zack Gould (No. 1), Rohit Yerram (No. 2), Ian Horne (No. 3) and Mike Soucy (No. 5) each won their singles matches 8-0.

Andrew Allen (No. 4) and Tim Weeks (No. 6) also had singles wins for Bedford. Derrick Salvatore and Jason Boucher won the No. 1 doubles match, while Adam Landon and Alex Tjie picked up a win at No. 2 and Zachary Suozzo and Ishaan Chatterjee won at No. 3.
