Goffstown Grizzlies

The Goffstown High School boys lacrosse team broke a tie game with two goals in the fourth quarter and knocked off Bow 9-7 on Wednesday.

Ben O’Brien led the Grizzlies (3-8) with three goals and Eric Dubois also scored twice. Devin Young added a goal and an assist while Eric Lacerte, Griffin Cook, Charlie Keith and Nick Mason also scored.

Peyton Bickford had three assists and won 15 of 20 faceoffs for Goffstown, while Max Lajeunesse had an assist and Finn Grant made 11 saves.

Nashua North 12, Nashua South 8

The Panthers came up short against the Titans despite getting four goals and two assists from Shane Puleo.

Devin Linscott added a goal and an assist while Joe Bodi, Sean Holland and Tyler Bernard also scored. Brett Shaughnessy had an assist.

Nate Radin made 12 saves and Myles Johnson won 12 of 16 faceoffs for South (5-8).

Lebanon 17, Milford 4

The Spartans dropped to 4-5 in Division III after a road loss to the Raiders.

Collin Cederberg scored three goals to lead Milford while Owen Hutchinson also had a goal and Cam O’Shaughnessy had two assists Jakob Fantasia and Mikey Federico had an assist apiece while Tim Gagnon (seven saves) and Kyle Forsley (two saves) split time in goal.

Boys Volleyball

Timberlane 3, Hollis Brookline 1

The Cavaliers had their seven-match win streak snapped by the undefeated Owls. Game scores were 25-8, 25-22, 25-27 and 25-23.

Nick Wood and Jonathan Brackett led HB (9-3) with 16 kills apiece and Scott Van Coughnett finished with 30 assists. Hayden Kabushta had two blocks and Nathan Cole recorded 11 digs.

Baseball

Bedford 6, Nashua South 4

The Bulldogs held off a seventh-inning rally by the Panthers to improve to 13-1 on the season.

Connor Collins had a three-run double and added an inside-the-park home run for Bedford, while Grant Lavigne, Liam Greene and Nick Mokas each had an RBI.

Tyler Mednikoff had a run-scoring triple in the bottom of the sixth to give Bedford some insurance and Manny Ray picked up his fourth win, striking out six. Nick Gelinas pitched two innings to get the save.

Softball

Bedford 14, Nashua South 3

The Bulldogs rolled to a win over the Panthers to move to 10-4 on the season.

Maddie Fraitzl got the win in the circle, allowing five hits, while also adding three hits, including two doubles, and two runs scored on offense. Jacque Harrington went 5 for 5 for Bedford while Erin Murphy had four hit (three doubles) and three runs scored, and Hannah Thompson added a three-run triple.
