“(Wednesday) was a great team effort,” Exeter coach Mike McDonnell said. “Our communication seems to be improving with every test. This was one of the best defensive efforts of the season for Kelsey (Peirce). Her passing and her digs were pure precision and she showed great anticipation on every play. Top notch effort by our Libero. Couple that with a great effort by Sam (Wiberg) who distributed the ball beautifully throughout the match and it translated into a nice win to bring us back to even.”
