BEDFORD – The Bedford High School boys basketball team jumped out to a double-digit lead in the first quarter and never looked back Friday night in a 71-48 win over Manchester Memorial.

Logan O’Connell led the Bulldogs (5-1 in Division I) with 24 points while Connor O’Rourke added 16 points, going 8 of 11 at the free throw line, and Wiji Dak chipped in 13 points.

The Crusaders (3-3) got 18 points from Christian Bilolo while Joel Gomez and Jake Ornelas each added eight points.

Campbell 63, Conant 45

The Cougars rolled at home to a win over the Orioles.

Luke Delia led the way for Campbell (5-1 in D3) with 19 points while Jack Breton added 16 points and Logan Rice had 14 markers.

Belmont 77, Somersworth 29

The Raiders (7-0) remained undefeated in D3 with a big win over the Hilltoppers.

Aidan Underholl and Keegan Martinez each had 20 points to lead Belmont while Treshawn Ray was in double figures with 12 points.

St. Thomas 58, Newfound 45

The Saints bounced back from their first loss with a road win over the Bears.

Finley De Tolla led the way with 26 points for St. Thomas (5-1) while Cole McClure had 16 points and Anthony Settineri scored 12 markers.

Merrimack Valley 53, Milford 50

The Pride fell behind nine points early, and despite trailing for most of the game, came back to grab the win.

Nic Ogelsby led Merrimack Valley (5-0) with 15 points while Thatcher Stearn added 13 points and Aiden Gray chipped in with 11 markers.

Girls Basketball

Oyster River 64, Lebanon 59

The Bobcats rallied from as many as 11 points down in the second half to get a win over the Raiders.

Olivia Andersen and Wren Horne each had 18 points to lead Oyster River (5-1) while Vivian O’Quinn was in double figures with 14 points. Ashling Ferris chipped in with six points in the win.

Souhegan 54, ConVal 13

The Sabers controlled the game from start to finish, beating the Cougars to win their third consecutive game for the first time in over seven years.

Caroline Drum led the way for Souhegan with 11 points and Kayden Merriam added 10 points. Lanai Hickman chipped in with eight points.

Nashua South 56, Trinity 39

Nicole De Jesus and Karina O’Donnell were both in double figures as the Panthers beat the Pioneers for their second straight win on the road.

De Jesus finished with 22 points and O’Donnell had 18 to lead South (4-2). Addie Borden added eight markers in the win.

Pinkerton 94, Winnacunnet 27

Sydney Gerossie hit nine 3-pointers and scored 33 points to lead the Astros to a win over the Warriors.

Mia Marshall added 17 points, including three 3s, for Pinkerton (5-1 in D1), which led 32-6 after one quarter. Hayden Lecesse had 10 points, with two 3s, while Brooke Benz had nine points and Emily Leonard added eight.

Bedford 67, Manchester Memorial 14

Kate Allard scored 17 points to help lead the Bulldogs past the Crusaders.

Annie Zink had two 3-pointers and 10 points, while Ava Collins also scored 10 points. Eva Zink added eight points for Bedford (6-0).

Avery Jenkins led Memorial (0-6) with seven points while Jenavyzia Collazo, Jaelyn Hartford and Taylor Angerami each had two points.

Nashua North 55, Goffstown 44

The Titans got a big all-around game from Lily Small as they knocked off the Grizzlies.

Small had 14 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and four steals for North (2-3) and Angie King led the way in scoring with 19 points. Aidan Walker also had a double double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Goffstown (1-5) got 18 points from Meredith Winterburn while Reece Still scored 11 points.

Timberlane 54, Pelham 39

The Owls led by three at halftime before blowing the game against the Pythons open in the second half.

Sam Mooney and Rylee Donahue each had 13 points to lead Timberlane (4-3) while Ava Stewart added 11 points and Ella Lampron finished with 10 points.

Pelham got 15 points from Ava Milles and Sophia Guinazzo had eight points.

Exeter 70, Dover 48

Anna McGuinness scored 22 points to lead the Blue Hawks to a win over the Green Wave.

Lexy Rogers added 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds while Karli Scherpf finished with 12 points and six assists.

Keene 58, Concord 27

The Blackbirds had three players score in double figures in a win over the Crimson Tide.

Payton Margatis had 15 points to lead Keene (4-1) while McKenna Nelson had 14 points, six rebounds and four steals and Harper Zalanski recorded 14 points and eight boards.
