BEDFORD – Three players scored four goals apiece Tuesday night, as the Bedford High School girls lacrosse team opened the season with a 19-3 win over Concord.

Maddie Kiely and Nat Dennon each had four goals and an assist and Olivia Matthews added four goals of her own for the Bulldogs (1-0, No. 2 in the NHHSSports Coaches Poll). Megan Muir also had three goals and an assist and Audrey Purnell had two goals and two assists.

Leah Leblanc and Molly Noonan also scored for Bedford.

Concord got a goal apiece from Sofia Payne, Brooke Nelson and Malie Ramshaw. Abby Poole finished with six saves.

No. 7 Dover 16, Salem 7

The Green Wave picked up a win over the Blue Devils in the opener, getting five goals and four assists from Lily Hunt.

Payton Denning added four goals and two assist and Rylen Gray had four goals for Dover. Megan Healy had two goals and two assists while Kiley Campbell also scored.

Maggie Berry finished with 10 saves to get the win.

No. 3 Bishop Guertin 12, No. 6 Souhegan 4

The Sabers got five saves from goalie Catie Schriever, but it wasn’t enough against the Cardinals.

Lyla Kimball had two goals, an assist and four caused turnovers and Libby Kennedy had a goal and two assists. Natalie Heimarck also scored and Maddie Lim had three caused turnovers.

No. 9 Windham 18, Alvirne 1

Chloe Hall had six goals and two assists to lead the Jaguars to a season-opening win Monday against the Broncos.

Sophie Ponzini added four goals and two assists and Ella Gallinelli had two goals and two assists. Mia Gallinelli also scored twice and had an assist while Emma Kendzulak had a goal and an assist.

Casey Dolliver and Darby Madden had two assists apiece for Windham.

Alvirne got its lone goal from Audriana Chipperini.

Boys Lacrosse

Merrimack 8, Nashua South 3

The Tomahawks got three goals from Henry Tobin to open the year with a win over the Panthers.

Sean Anderson added two goals and Cayden Dine had a goal, his first career varsity goal, and two assists. Freshman Hudson Rousseau finished with three assists and Max Dunn had two helpers.

Max Giles and Landon Bedard added a goal apiece and Mason Tremblay made 14 saves.

No. 5 Pinkerton 20, Manchester 2

Cole Summers had three goals and four assists and Adam Scala had four goals and an assist to lead the Astros past the Kings.

Ricky Wong also had three goals and two assists and Matt Gormady also scored three times while Jimmy Erickson and Jeff Gormady had two goals apiece. Dylan Stingel had a goal and an assist while Matt Morrison and Ben Quintiliani had a goal each.

Ryson Michaud and Nathan Smith each had an assist while Stingel, Alex Tsetseranos and Aiden Jones combined to win 18 of 19 faceoffs. Owen Perkins made two saves and Cody Dumont had one.

Cade Tripp had two goals for Manchester while Cam Velez made nine saves.

No. 2 Derryfield 17, Oyster River-Newmarket 1

Alex Murray and RJ Proulx combined for 13 points to help lead the Cougars to win over the Bobcats.

Murray had five goals and two assists while Proulx finished with four goals and two assists. Dom Cercone had three goals and an assist and Chili Cabot scored twice while Cooper Ketcham had two assists and Ryan Maxwell had a goal and an assist.

John Kramer, Logan Dyer and Max Fowler had a goal each and Garrett Lande had an assist. Parker Lebiedz made 10 saves and Logan Purvis and Dylan Clyne combined to win 20 of 22 faceoffs.

Tyler Callander had the lone goal for the Bobcats and Cole Norris finished with 12 saves.

No. 4 Bedford 19, Concord 1

Bennett Matthews scored six goals to help lead the Bulldogs to a season-opening win over the Crimson Tide.

Derek Kulesza added five goals while Sam Barad had two goals and two assists and Luke Purnell had a goal and three assists. Brody Helton had a goal and two assists while John Purnell scored twice and Brycen D’Urso (one assist) and JJ Gaffney had a goal apiece.

Carter Doherty had the lone goal for Concord.

No. 7 Timberlane 17, Spaulding 5

The Owls got out to a 12-1 lead in the first quarter and rolled to their second win in as many days.

Rocco Psareas led the way with five goals and an assist and Landon Petry finished with three goals and three assists. Jack Condon had two goals and three assists while Mike Savage had three goals and Brayden Gillespie had two.

Austin Charest and Matt Bartholomew had a goal apiece and Cam Bonfiglio and Logan Johnson each added an assist. Mark St. Jean won 14 of 15 faceoffs.

Campbell 9, Kearsarge 2

Campbell got two goals and an assist each from Andrew Willnus and Nate Lencki to open with a win over Kearsarge.

Brandon Portillo added two goals and Hunter Grant had a goal and an assist. Will O’Brien finished with seven saves and Lucas Craig was 10 of 14 on faceoffs for the Cougars.

Hollis Brookline 16, Hillsboro-Deering/John Stark 1

The Cavaliers got a big day from a pair of freshmen, as Bennett Torgersen (four goals) and Vittorio Masoni (three goals) combined for seven goals in a season-opening win.

Ben Dufoe, Colin Magnuszewski and JP Torgersen each had two goals for HB while Connor Cook also scored. Bryson Giersch and Mike O’Hearn also had their first varsity goals.

Charlie Dee finished with eight saves for HB while Patrick Masoni, Rudy Rosa and Cayden Emmons played well on defense.

Dover 6, Salem 3

Micah Krick scored four goals to help lead the Green Wave past the Blue Devils in their season opener.

Toby Desroches and Kyle Behan added a goal apiece while Logan Carter and Riley Joyce each had two assists. Lukah Ready also had an assist and Dom Chalifour made 15 saves.

No. 10 Windham 15, Souhegan 6

The Jaguars opened the regular season with a road win over the Sabers, getting three goals and two assists from Josh Trudel.

Nate Crowley added two goals and three assists and Sam Kramer scored twice and had two helpers.

Zach Wyborney scored twice for Souhegan while Nate Hill, Ayden McGrath, Louis Berlack and Sam Stevenson had a goal apiece.
