Nate Nelson scored five goals, but none bigger than the final one, with one second left on the clock to give the Bishop Brady High School boys lacrosse team a 12-11 win over No. 7 Coe-Brown on Thursday in the Division III playoffs.

Nelson also had three assists for the 10th-seeded Giants, who needed a win in their regular-season finale to get into the postseason, while Connor Rolston had two goals and three assists and Ben Abromowich and Joey Richardson also scored twice.

Jason Doyle added a goal and Alex King had two assists while Brayden Murphy played well in goal and Josh Lamparelli led the defense and the clear. Tucker Townsend was 12 of 14 on faceoffs.

The win sends Bishop Brady to the quarterfinals Saturday, where it will take on No. 2 Campbell at 1 p.m.

Division II

No. 5 Winnacunnet 11, No. 12 Goffstown 6

Caleb White and Antonio Franciosa each had three goals and an assist as the Warriors got the playoff win over the Grizzlies.

Tim Kollmorgen added a goal and three assists while Tanyon Ziolkowski, Braden Nowak, Ryan Ciolfi and Noah Garofalo chipped in a goal apiece. Jake Magri added an assist.

Magri, Tony Piotrowski, Laird Sullivan and Junior Paschal played well defensive while Noah Andronaco made 10 saves.

Winnacunnet moves on to the quarterfinals, where it will play at Windham Saturday at 5 p.m.

No. 4 Windham 16, No. 13 Pembroke 4

Drew Denton led the way with four goals, including the 100th of his career, and the Jaguars rolled to an opening-round win over the Spartans. Denton is also five points away from 200.

Matt Desmarais also had five goals and four assists for Windham while Nate Crowley had three goals and three assists. Bryan Desmarais added two goals while Jacob Spalinger and Jake Suliveras had one apiece.

Jake Micchie, Andrew Trudel and Bill DiPietro played well defensively in the win.

No. 6 St. Thomas 21, No. 11 Alvirne 1

Six players scored for the Saints, including a 6-goal, 1-assist performance from Anthony DiMartino, as they moved past the Broncos to the quarterfinals.

Finley DeTolla added four goals and two assists and Jackson Estes had four goals and one assist for St. Thomas while Aidan Morrison had three goals and an assist.

Trent Salyards and Owen Gray each had a pair of goals while Owen Birch and John Reeve each had an assist. Royal Edgerly also had an assist and was 14 of 24 on faceoffs.

The Saints will head to Timberlane on Saturday for a 5 p.m. quarterfinal.

Girls Lacrosse

Division I

No. 6 Bishop Guertin 18, No. 3 Dover 9

The Cardinals got six goals and an assist from Kyra O’Connell in a quarterfinal win over the Green Wave.

Lauren Redfern added four goals and a helper and Kamryn Schmitt recorded three scores to help send Bishop Guertin to the final four.

Arianna Kouchalakos added two goals and Tess Prunier and Skylar Neftali had a goal and an assist each. Anna Campel also scored and Maddy Eder-Linell made six saves.

The Cardinals move on to the semifinals, where they will face Portsmouth at 7 p.m. Saturday at Bill Ball Stadium in Exeter.

No. 1 Bedford 22, No. 8 Merrimack 4

Sydney Grogan and Eli Enners each had four goals and an assist to lead the Bulldogs to a playoff win over the Tomahawks.

Regan O’Brien added three goals and two assists and Olivia Matthews had three goals for Bedford. Maddie Kiely scored two goals and dished out two assists while Audrey Purnell and Ella Dakos had two goals apiece.

Natalie Denon (one assist) and Kira Abdelsayed had a goal each for the Bulldogs, who move on to the semifinals, where they will take on Nashua South at 5 p.m. Saturday at Bill Ball Stadium.

Division II

No. 4 Winnacunnet 13, No. 5 Timberlane 9

Maia Delano had five goals to help the Warriors move on to the semifinals with a win over the Owls.

Abby Wilbert added three goals and four draw controls and Shea Graham also scored three times. Sky Mace added two goals and three draw controls and Norah Willcox had four caused turnovers and led the defense.

Winnacunnet will face Hanover in the final four at 7 p.m. Saturday at Stellos Stadium in Nashua.

No. 2 Windham 14, No. 7 Oyster River-Newmarket 5

Sophia Ponzini scored six goals, including the 100th of her career, as the Jaguars advanced past the Bobcats in the quarterfinals.

Chloe Hall added five goals and an assist and Maria Killan had two goals and an assist. Ella Gallinelli also scored while Annie Mitchell (nine saves) and Emilie Webman (one) combined on the win in goal.

Windham will now play Hollis Brookline in the semifinals at 5 p.m. Saturday at Stellos Stadium in Nashua.

Division III

No. 1 Bow 22, No. 8 Derryfield 5

Alex Larrabee scored nine goals and had four assists to lead the Falcons past the Cougars in the quarterfinals.

Olivia Selleck added six goals and two assists while Ella Gray scored twice and Elle Trefethen and Kate McGovern each had a goal and two assists. Lyndsey LaPerle and Kendall Murray had a goal and an assist apiece.

Kylie McKee also scored and Bella LaPerle had an assist while Elena Roy made four saves and Selleck had 14 draw controls.

Bow will take on Concord Christian in the semifinals at 7 p.m. Saturday at Bank of New Hampshire Stadium in Laconia.
