Around the Granite State: Bishop Guertin boys lacrosse gets another win over Exeter (video)

NASHUA – Brady Dumont had four goals to help the Bishop Guertin High School boys lacrosse team to a 17-8 win Friday over Exeter.

Caleb Yeung added three goals and two assists and Owen King scored three times and had an assist. Cam Hayden had two goals and two assists and Sean McGarry scored twice.

Alex Dumont and Colin Foley had a goal and an assist apiece  while Beau Dubois had a goal. Hudson Schmitt had two assists for the Cardinals (7-2, No. 1 in the NHHSSports Coaches Poll).

No. 2 Bedford 18, Marblehead (Mass.) 4

Bennett Matthews had four goals and two assists to help lead the Bulldogs past the Magicians.

Sam Barad and Brody Helton each had three goals and three assists while Derek Kulesza (one assist) and Luke Purnell each scored three times.

Kevin Sheridan had a goal and an assist and JJ Gaffney also scored.

Marblehead got a goal apiece from Reece Moore, Gio Garibotto, Cam Waldman and Greg Motorny.

No. 9 Windham 23, Spaulding 1

Ryan Parke had four goals and three assists to help lead the Jaguars to their seventh straight win.

Nate Crowley added three goals and three assists, Sam Kramer had three goals and two assists and Casey Kramer finished with eight saves.

No. 5 Derryfield 16, Goffstown 3

Chili Cabot had six goals and an assist as the Cougars took out the Grizzlies.

John Kramer had three goals and three assists while Ryan Maxwell had a goal and three helpers. Dom Cercone had two goals and an assist and Cooper Ketcham scored twice.

Brady Doldo (one assist) and Michael Grunbeck had a goal apiece and Parker Lebiedz made nine saves. Jackson Hatfield and Dylan Clyne combined to win 14 of 23 faceoffs.

Goffstown got two goals from Noah Bless and one from Owen Matatall. Sean Cote made 13 saves.

No. 6 Timberlane 16, Hanover 5

The Owls outscored the Bears 7-0 in the second quarter to take control of the game.

Landon Petry finished with five goals and four assists and Austin Charest had six assists for Timberlane. Jack Condon had four goals and two assists and Rocco Psareas (one assist) and Michael Savage each had a pair of goals.

Cole Gerry had a goal and an assist while Gary Shivell and Cam Bonfiglio scored a goal each. Ryan Lueders had an assist and Mark St. Jean won 21 of 22 faceoffs.

Joe Hughes, Bryce Carty and Ryan Bazidane each had two saves in goal.

Campbell 13, Coe-Brown 6

The Cougars avenged their only loss of the season by getting a road win over the Bears.

Wyatt Tarr had five goals and four assists and Andrew Willnus also scored five times for Campbell. Zach Hannah had two goals and two assists and Nate Lencki also scored.

Lucas Craig won 16 of 22 faceoffs and Will O’Brien made 15 saves while Tyson Landry played well defensively.

Pelham 9, Bow 6

The Falcons led for most of the game, but the Pythons rallied in the fourth quarter to take the win.

Brad Ekstrom had 15 saves for Bow while Sam Bennett had a goal and an assist.

Kearsarge 14, Milford 1

Ryan Arseneau had the lone goal for the Spartans in a loss to Cougars.

Brennan Cassidy finished with 13 saves while Tyler Ireland played well defensively.

Merrimack Valley 6, ConVal 3

The Pride picked up the win over the Cougars, getting three goals from Matt Lauren.

Conner Hanson and Colin Reardon had a goal and an assist each while Mike Heine also scored and Brayden Hussey had an assist.

Michael Kingsbury finished with eight saves and Carter Lankhorst won 11 of 13 faceoffs.

Dover 5, Salem 3

The Green Wave rallied from a 3-1 first-half deficit and held the Blue Devils scoreless after halftime for the win.

Micah Krick and Tobey Desroches each had two goals and an assist while Silas Brown also scored for Dover. Lukah Ready and Ben Tower had an assist apiece.

Dom Chalifour finished with 13 saves and Owen Wood was 7 for 11 on faceoffs.

Girls Lacrosse

Hollis Brookline 13, No. 6 Exeter 12

The Cavaliers came back from a four-goal deficit with an 8-0 run and held off the Blue Hawks.

Cailean Roy led the way with seven goals and one assist while Sabrina Hill had five goals and four assists. Juliette Ogren also had a goal and Teagan Arbogast had an assist.

Roy, Hill and McKenna Maguire combined to win 14 draws and Addison Dougherty finished with 10 saves.

No. 8 Windham 13, Hanover 7

Emma Kendzulak had four goals and an assist to lead the Jaguars to a road win over the Bears.

Chloe Hall added three goals and Sophia Ponzini had two goals and an assist. Darby Madden and Mia Gallinelli had a goal and an assist apiece and Jaidyn Seitzer finished with three saves.

Hanover got three goals from Maeve Lee while Nora Bradley scored twice. Cassidy Loughman and Joia Collins had a goal apiece.

St. Thomas 25, Trinity 5

Cat Vetter scored seven goals, including the 100th of her high school career, to help lead the Saints past the Pioneers.

Megan Leahy added four goals and Kat Dornan and Charlotte De Tolla each had three goals. Kensely Harris, Reece Anderson and Lizzy Holden had two goals each. Ava Lyder and Julia Bryan also had a goal.

Brea Barker made five saves while Peyton Baker played well defensively and Julianna Grella was dominant on the draw.

No. 10 Goffstown 18, Oyster River-Newmarket 11

Grace Royal had seven goals and one assist on the day, as she eclipsed the 100-point total for her career in the Bobcats’ loss to the Grizzlies.

Mia Weglarz, Keira Ferris, Lindsey Morin and Kira Jakobs scored apiece and Eliza Farwell finished with 10 saves.

Souhegan 15, Concord 5

Emma Kennedy and Libby Kennedy each had three goals to lead the Sabers past the Crimson Tide.

Libby Kennedy also had an assist while Izzy Stevenson had two goals and two assists. Lyla Kimball scored twice and had an assist and Abby Giannetti had two goals.

Ava Grace, Allison Jordan, Shea Llewellyn and Lanai Hickman each had a goal. Sophie Jacobs, Eva Stiles, Lyla Hawkes and Carly Hodgdon-Rogers also played well.
