Jamie Webster scored four goals to help lead the Manchester Central-Memorial girls hockey team to a 10-0 win Tuesday over Souhegan in the season opener for both teams.
Coriann Hoag added three goals and Chloe Gilroy earned the shutout with 15 saves. Grace Manning, Neveah Marineau and Meghan Wade each added a goal for Central-Memorial.
Girls Basketball
Manchester Memorial 51, Nashua South 34
The Crusaders opened the season with a win over the Panthers at home behind 17 points and 10 rebounds from NyAsia McKelvey.
Peyton Moran added a career-high 12 points and Torle Adumene was also in double figures with 10 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Maddie Pepra-Omani had six points, five assists and five steals.
Portsmouth 68, Alvirne 30
Portsmouth had 11 players score, led by 17 points from Avery Romps and 13 from Margaret Montplaisir.
Boys Basketball
Portsmouth 54, Alvirne 49
The Broncos came up short on the road against the Clippers. Cameron Kruger led the way for Alvirne with 16 points and Garrett Hall added 14 points.
Pinkerton 89, Timberlane 47
Jackson Marshall scored 41 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Astros to a win over the Owls.
Cristian Brander added 11 points for Pinkerton while Tyrone Chinn had nine points, seven rebounds and three assists.
