Around the Granite State: Crowley gets 100th, Windham gets win over Goffstown
Here are results from Friday’s high school lacrosse action.
Nate Crowley had three goals, including the 100th of his high school career, to help lead the Windham High School boys lacrosse team to an 11-9 win over Goffstown on Friday.
Josh Trudel added three goals and two assists for the Jaguars (12-3, No. 9 in the NHHSSports Coaches Poll) and Sam Kramer had two goals and one assist in the win.
No. 7 Timberlane 15, Kennett 5
Rocco Psareas had five goals and an assist to lead the Owls past the Eagles.
Landon Petry finished with two goals and five assists and Jack Condon scored four times. Cole Gerry had a goal and two assists while Austin Charest and Mike Savage had a goal and an assist apiece.
Gary Shivell also scored and Logan Johnson had an assist while Bryce Carty (one save), Joe Hughes (two) and Ryan Bazidane (two) combined in goal for the win.
No. 2 Bedford 18, Nashua South 1
Derek Kulesza had six goals to help the Bulldogs roll to the win over the Panthers.
Luke Purnell added four goals and three assists and Bennett Matthews had four goals and one assist. Brody Helton scored twice and had two assists and Sam Barad chipped in with a goal and two assists.
JJ Gaffney had a goal and an assist and Tristan Kerr, Kevin Sheridan and Spencer Henrichon each had a helper.
Severen Johnson scored the lone goal for South and Wyatt Solis-Serber had an assist.
Winnacunnet 6, Oyster River-Newmarket 3
The Bobcats saw their four-game win streak come to an end against the Warriors.
Jake Failla, Alex Moody and Tyler Callander each had a goal while Cole Norris made four saves.
Dover 13, Nashua North 2
The Titans got a goal each from Andrew Culliane and Nick Wilkinson, but it wasn’t enough.
Jace Colon finished with nine saves for North.
Girls Lacrosse
St. Thomas 19, Milford 1
Charlotte De Tolla led the way with five goals as the Saints improved to 12-0 in Division III.
Megan Leahy added four goals while Lizzy Holden, Cat Vetter, Kat Dornan and Izzy Taylor had two goals apiece. Reece Anderson and Julia Bryan each scored a goal.
Brea Barker finished with two saves while Juliana Grella and Ava Lyder played well defensively.
No. 4 Souhegan 17, Concord 5
Emma Kennedy had four goals and three assists as the Sabers picked up their sixth win in a row.
Izzy Stevenson also had four goals and an assist while Libby Kennedy had three goals and an assist. Lanai Hickman and Abby Giannetti had two goals apiece while Lyla Kimball had a goal and an assist.
Maddie Lim also scored and Natalie Heimarck and Ava Grace had an assist apiece. Catie Schriever and Emma Crisman each had a save and Sophie Jacobs, Marley Bacon and Eva Stiles also played well.
No. 3 Bedford 12, No. 10 Nashua South 5
The Panthers came up short against the Bulldogs despite getting two goals from Maren Lowell.
Karina O’Donnell and Morgan Uzdanovich had a goal and an assist apiece and Nevaeh Eppolitto also scored. Keira Walsh finished with eight saves for South.
Hanover 16, No. 8 Hollis Brookline 8
The Cavaliers dropped their second in a row on the road, falling to the Bears.
Cailean Roy had five goals, one assist and six draw control to lead HB while Sabrina Hill scored twice and Blake Curley also had a goal. Addison Dougherty made six saves.
