Around the Granite State: Derryfield boys lacrosse cruises to win

Emerson Stover had six goals and the Derryfield School boys lacrosse team cruised to a 20-2 win Tuesday over Kingswood.

Dom Cercone added four goals and four assists while Ryan Maxwell had three goals and five assists for the Cougars (11-0, No. 5 in the MerchSquared.com/NHHSSports Coaches Poll). RJ Proulx also had three goals and three assists and Brady Doldo scored three times and had two assists.

Garrett Lande also had a goal while Jackson Hatfield and Lukas Gaff each added an assist. Hatfield, Dylan Clyne, Awaab Mousa and Isaac Kosakowski were 23 of 26 on faceoffs and Jaxon DeYoung finished with nine saves.

The Knights got goals from Austin Emerson and Reid Swinerton while Grady Witcomb made six saves and Atley Rollins had five.

Hollis Brookline 14, Nashua North 7 

Mike O’Hearn had three goals and three assists and Sam Petrella had three goals and one assist to help lead the Cavaliers.

Bennett Torgersen added two goals and three assists while Noah Taylor had two goals and two assists. JP Torgersen also had two goals and one helper while Vittorio Masoni and Luke Kinney had a goal apiece.

Levi Mitchell finished with eight saves for HB (8-3) and Mason Acheson won 15 faceoffs.

North (0-11) got three goals from Dylan Noble while Patrick Shaw and Jack Krulikowski had a goal apiece. Tommy Dratch and Jevon Anson each had an assist for their first varsity points and Josh Parsons made 24 saves.

Bow 11, Trinity 3

Kian O’Leary had four goals and Niko Mallios three scores as the Falcons picked up the win over the Pioneers.

Sam Bennett had two goals and an assist while Rowan Schlosser had a goal and an assist. Devon St. Cyr also scored and Cam Czarnosz had two assists while Parker Kazanowski had one.

Jake Antuna was 12 of 19 on faceoffs and Brad Ekstrom made 14 saves while Harrison Denise had nine groundballs and an assist.

Dover 18, Spaulding 0

Ben Tower had five goals and three assists as the Green Wave rolled over the Red Raiders.

Tobey Desroches added six goals and an assist and Logan Carter had four goals for Dover (6-6). Cooper Ketcham had a goal and three assists and Parker Ketcham had three assists while Kyle Behan and Sylas Brown had two assists apiece.

Geffin Adorian added a goal while Braeden Perry scored his first varsity goal. Owen Wood was 19 of 23 on faceoffs while Danny Bretz made six saves and Bryson Glidden had five caused turnovers and nine groundballs.

Girls Lacrosse

No. 3 Winnacunnet 17, Goffstown 3

Elle Emery finished with four goals to help lead the Warriors to a win against the Grizzlies.

Emmy Granger and Ari Rizzo had three goals and an assist apiece while McKinley Fowler also scored three goals. Sky Mace had two goals and three assists and Sarah Rademacher and Emily Arlington had a goal each for Winnacunnet (8-1).

Goffstown got a goal apiece from Evie Eaton, Morghan Dodge and Sydney Lavoie while Addyson Glejzer and Ella Coletti each had an assist. McKenna Kelly finished with 13 saves.

Dover 15, Spaulding 3

Izzy Orrell made 11 saves for the Red Raiders, but they came up short against the Green Wave.

Sarah Lin had two goals for Spaulding while Aivah Helton also had a goal.

Pelham 17, Belmont 4

The Pythons snapped a three-game losing streak with their win over the Red Raiders on Monday.

Ella DeSimone led the way for Pelham (5-3) with seven goals while Mia Wilkins (one assist) and Lyla Prince each had two goals. Katherine Carroll added a goal and an assist and Addison Breault made four saves.
