PLAISTOW – The Derryfield School boys lacrosse team scored twice in 30 seconds late in the fourth quarter Tuesday to break a tie and held off Timberlane for a 9-7 win.

Chili Cabot had two goals, including what proved to be the game-winner with 4:52 left in the game, and Ryan Maxwell had two goals and an assist, scoring an insurance goal for the Cougars (10-1, No. 5 in the NHHSSports Coaches Poll) with 4:22 remaining.

Dom Cercone and Michael Grunbeck also scored twice and John Kramer added a goal. Brady Doldo had two assists and Cooper Ketcham and Max Fowler had one apiece. Parker Lebiedz made 10 saves and Logan Purvis was 13 of 19 on faceoffs.

Austin Charest had two goals for Timberlane (7-2), including one with 5:55 left to play that tied the game at 7. Jack Condon also scored twice and had an assist while Landon Petry and Rocco Psaris each had a goal and an assist.

Cole Gerry added a goal and Michael Savage had two assists while Bryce Carty and Joe Hughes split time in goal, making two saves apiece.

No. 9 Windham 12, Hollis Brookline 9

The Jaguars picked up a big win against the Cavaliers in a game between Division II contenders.

Ryan Parke had four goals and an assist and Nate Crowley also scored four goals while Josh Trudel and Matt Desmarais scored two goals apiece for Windham (9-2).

HB (9-4) got three goals from Colin Magnszewski while Ben Dufoe had two goals and three assists. Mike O’Hearn also scored twice while Luke Kinney played well in goal.

No. 7 Pinkerton 10, Concord 3

The Astros outscored the Crimson Tide 7-1 in the second half to get the win.

Cody Santomassimo had three goals and Jimmy Erickson and Adam Scala each had two goals. Matt Morrison and Ricky Wong had a goal and an assist apiece while Cole Summers had three assists.

Ben Quintiliani had a goal and Matt Gormady added an assist for Pinkerton (7-5). Owen Perkins made five saves and Dylan Stingel won 11 of 16 faceoffs.

Concord (4-7) got two goals from Ben Ryder while Jaden Haas had a goal. Carter Doherty handed out two assists and Logan Shimer made 15 saves.

Campbell 12, Milford 3

Andrew Willnus scored five goals and had two assists to lead the Cougars past the Spartans.

Cruz Sandquist had two goals and an assist and Zach Hannah had three assists. Evan Molino scored a goal and had an assist while Brandon Portillo, Hunter Grant, Scott Hershberger and Matthew DeCarli had a goal apiece.

Nick Hershberger had an assist and played well defensively while Nathan Lencki and Evan Molino combined to go 13 for 19 on faceoffs for Campbell (9-1).

Tyler Descoteaux had a goal and an assist for Milford (0-8) while Braydon Atwood and Dylan MacLeod added a goal apiece. Brennan Cassidy made 11 saves and Matt Gaumont and Tyler Ireland played well defensively.

Girls Lacrosse

Oyster River-Newmarket 22, Manchester Memorial-West 6 

Grace Royal had six goals and three assists to lead the Bobcats past the Crusaders.

Keira Ferris also had six goals and Lindsey Morin had five goals and an assist. Kris Jakobs had a goal and an assist while Kira Jakobs, Shea Sullivan, Hannah Main and Bel Ejarque added a goal apiece.

Mia Weglarz, Lexi Gill and Eliza Farwell each had an assist while Farwell also had eight saves and Sydney Haines had three.
