MANCHESTER – Kira Geddes had two goals and two assists Wednesday to help lead the Derryfield School field hockey team to a 5-2 win over Goffstown in Division II action.

Hannah Schwalke added two goals and Kennedy Overhoff also scored while Taylor Hardner had an assist for the Cougars (4-2). Jess Avalon made five saves and Derryfield finished with 12 penalty corners.

The Grizzlies (2-3) got a goal each from Hilde Hieronymus and Avery Brisiel while Ava Jones and Nora Erwin each had an assist. Molly Braica and Maddie Brown combined for 24 saves in goal and Goffstown had four corners.

No. 2 Windham 3, Londonderry 1

Sarah Adamske scored two goals to help lead the Jaguars (6-0-1) to a win over the Lancers (3-4).

Sophia Ponzini assisted on both goals while Mackenzie Suech added a goal off an assist from Sedona Lee. Annie Mitchell made two saves for Windham while Ava Pelletier and Aly Sinopoli also played well in the win.

Man. Central-West 3, Nashua North 0

Katelyn Dudley scored twice for MCW (2-3) in its win over the Titans (0-6). Alyssa Bonia added a goal on a penalty stroke for the winners.

No. 10 Keene 4, Salem 0

Four players scored for the Blackbirds (3-4), as they snapped a four-game skid with the win over the Blue Devils (1-4-1).

Sofia Miller, Tessa Pearson (assist), Kaylyn Trubiano and Lindsay Marshall each had a goal for Keene. Katie Harrington and Megan Goodwin each an assist.

Avery Allaire played well defensively.

No. 8 Winnacunnet 5, Nashua South 0

Kaitlyn Tello made 22 saves but the Panthers (0-6) feel to the Warriors (5-1). Brady Murray and Karina O’Donnell also played well for South.

Girls Volleyball

Hollis Brookline 3, Pinkerton 0

The Cavaliers (4-1) picked up a sweep of the Astros (2-3) on the road. Game scores were 25-20, 25-20 and 25-13.

Annette Schlunk had seven kills and six aces to lead HB while Cheyenne Colbert had five kills and two blocks. Maggie Noble recorded four aces while Maia Schneider had seven digs and Sophie Jordan had 26 assists.

Pinkerton got 11 kills from Sarah Bolduc and eight from Sophia Phaneuf. Calli Miller recorded 13 service points and three aces.

Hollis Brookline 3, Keene 0 (Tuesday)

Annette Schlunk had 11 aces to help lead the Cavs to a win over the Blackbirds. Scores were 27-5, 25-12 and 25-11.

Anika Carolson had four kills and Rachel Sheppard added nine assists. Gwynn Thomas recorded seven assists and two blocks while Malaya Colena had five digs.

Portsmouth Christian 3, Epping 1

Kailey Holt had six kills, 16 assists, six aces and six digs to help lead the Eagles to the win over the Blue Devils. Game scores were 25-21, 25-18, 12-25 and 27-25.

Liahna Messier had eight kills, four aces and seven digs and Emily Esters had 28 digs. Heidi Geyer recorded four kills and Madelyn Hardy had six aces while Kate Wesley chipped in with two blocks.

Boys Soccer

ConVal 3, Souhegan 0 (Tuesday)

Jake Daniels scored all three goals as the Cougars (3-2) shut out the Sabers (0-4).

Bryson Boice and Caden Peck each had an assist for ConVal and Wyatt Beaulieu made seven saves.

Souhegan got nine saves from Finnegan Daly.

John Stark 3, Trinity 1

Anthony Benscome scored all three goals for the Generals in their win over the Pioneers.

Makayla Pellerin scored the game’s only goal in the first half as the Generals knocked off the Sabers.
