Around the Granite State: Final weekend of the school year

This weekend will mark the final one of the school year, as the spring wrapups with four high school baseball championship games on Saturday and the two-day Decathlon/Heptathlon, which concludes on Sunday.

This weekend will mark the final one of the school year, as the spring wrapups with four high school baseball championship games on Saturday and the two-day Decathlon/Heptathlon, which concludes on Sunday. 

Championship Saturday will begin at 10 a.m. at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester with the Division III final beteween No. 3 Campbell, last year’s champion, and No. 1 Hopkinton. The Division IV game between No. 5 Newmarket and No. 3 Sunapee, last year’s champion, has a scheduled start time of 1 p.m.

The Division I game will feature No. 3 Merrimack against No. 1 Concord and is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. St. Thomas and Lebanon will finish the day when they play in the Division II title game at 7 p.m.

The Decathlon/Heptathlon gets underway Saturday at Nashua High School South and finishes up on Sunday.
