Around the Granite State: Keene field hockey gets shutout win over Londonderry
Scarlett Miller had a goal and two assists to help lead the Keene High School field hockey team to a 4-0 win Friday over Londonderry.
Sofia Miller also scored twice for the Blackbirds (2-0), while Maddie Boudle added a goal and McKenna Nelson added an assist.
Londonderry (1-2, No. 10 in the NHHSSports Coaches Poll) got 14 saves from goalie Molly Tharrington.
Timberlane 2, Merrimack 1
Brooke Salafia scored two goals to help lead the Owls past the Tomahawks.
Taylor Alperin assisted on each goal and Lilly Clark finished with 15 saves for Timberlane (2-1).
No. 6 Pinkerton 10, Manchester Memorial-Central 1
Jaelyn Crossman scored four goals and had an assist to help the Astros the win.
Gwen Lee added two goals and an assist and Cayden Madeiros also scored two goals, as they each recorded their first varsity scores. Hannah Lisauskas and Meaghan Shea chipped in with a goal apiece.
Molly Kunick made three saves for Pinkerton (2-0) while Anna Perkins, Jada Vasquez and Ayvree Hamilton played well.
No. 5 Bedford 7, Nashua South 1
The Panthers came up short on the road against the Bulldogs, getting a goal from Karina O’Donnell.
Meury Navarette finished with 23 saves for South (0-3).

Lilly Merrill scored the lone goal of the game for the Crimson Tide, as they moved to 3-0 on the year.
No. 9 Oyster River 7, Merrimack Valley 1
Eliza Farwell scored three goals, two on penalty corners, to help the Bobcats to a win over the Pride.
Alaina Pryzbilsky, Maggie Aldous, Rose Goldsmith and Rowynn Pickering added a goal apiece while Olivia Andersen and Nora Rogers played a great game at midfield for Oyster River (3-0).
Pelham 1, Lebanon 1 (OT)
Cassidy Harrington scored for the Pythons as they battled to a tie against the Raiders at home.
Kenzie Comtois had an assist for Pelham (1-0-1) while Addie Breault played well in goal, including a save on a penalty stroke near the end of regulation.
Harper Rancourt had the lone goal for Lebanon (1-1-1).
No. 4 John Stark 4, Derryfield 0
Caylin Worthen had three goals to lead the Generals past the Cougars.
Ava Friberg also scored and Jillian Fredette finished with two assists. Adie Bolduc and Michaela Niquette added an assist apiece.

Sabrina Hill and Addison Marchant each had two goals to lead the Cavaliers past the Cougars on Thursday.
Anna McGurk and Nyah Jernberg scored a goal apiece and Brooke Bouchard finished with three assists.
Kearsarge 7, Monadnock 0
The Huskies dropped their opener to the Cougars on Thursday, but got 31 saves from goalie Makayla Harwood.

Hollis Brookline 3, Concord 0
The Cavaliers picked up a sweep of the Crimson Tide, winning by scores of 25-19, 25-17 and 25-21.
Lolly Adai had 10 kills for HB (2-0), while Maggie Noble had six kills and four aces and Kate Berrigan recorded seven kills.
Portsmouth Christian 3, Belmont 2
The Eagles battled back from a two-game deficit to get the win. Game scores were 18-25, 26-28, 25-19, 29-27 and 15-7.
Quinn Arico had 20 kills, 13 assists, seven aces and 18 digs for PCA (2-0) while Heidi Geyer had eight kills, three aces and 11 digs. Caroline Braman had four kills and three blocks and Lexi Jordan added six aces and 18 assists.
Emma Eisner finished with 33 digs and Dylan Anderson had four blocks.
