NASHUA – Elizabeth Lavoie scored 26 points, including the 1,000th of her career, to help lead the Pinkerton Academy girls basketball team to a 62-44 win Thursday night over Nashua South.

Sydney Gerossie was also in double figures with 10 points and Alexandria White chipped in with nine for the Astros (6-0).

South (3-4) got 17 points from Morgan Gillis while Jaynilies De Jesus came off the bench to add 16 points and Koharu Tanaka had seven.

Bedford 67, Exeter 22

The Bulldogs got out to a 16-2 lead in the first quarter and went up 24 points at halftime on the way to a win over the Blue Hawks.

Lana McCarthy had 17 points to lead Bedford (7-0) while Mel McCarthy added 10 points and Kate Allard and Sarah Muir each had nine.

Exeter (2-5) got seven points each from Jessica Melick and Anna McGuinness.

Alvirne 51, Winnacunnet 26

The Broncos picked up their second straight win on the road by beating the Warriors.

Ella Hartson led the way for Alvirne (3-4) with 20 points.

The Broncos picked up a win Wednesday at home against the Warriors.

Garrett Hall had a game-high 19 points for Alvirne (3-4) while Sammy DeWitt had nine assists and Charlie Crawford also played well.
