Around the Granite State: Manchester boys lacrosse beats Dover to snap streak
Here are results from Tuesday’s high school sports action.
MANCHESTER – Declan Wotton had six goals Monday night to help lead the Manchester boys lacrosse team to a 10-7 win against Dover at Manchester Memorial High School.
Matt Koenig added two goals for the Kings (2-11) while Brady Harrison and Brandon Weaver also had a goal apiece. Cam Roberge finished with 12 saves. The win ended a 10-game losing streak for Manchester.
Ben Tower led Dover (7-8) with three goals and Logan Carter added two goals while Danny Bretz made eight saves.
Girls Lacrosse
No. 10 St. Thomas 13, Lebanon 5
The Saints won their seventh game in a row by knocking off the Raiders.
Charlotte De Tolla led the way with four goals while Annita Parmalee and Lizzy Holden had three goals apiece for St. Thomas (11-1, No. 10 in the MerchSquared.com/NHHSSports Coaches Poll).
Reece Anderson added two goals and Izzy Taylor had one while Maia Scanlon and Ava Lyder played well defensively. Chloe Baker finished with nine saves.
Timberlane 15, Salem 6
Katie Wood had three goals for the Blue Devils while Lily Burke, Emily Young and Haylee Bernard added a goal apiece.
Olivia Schoenrock finished with four saves and Zeynep Yildirim had six saves.
Boys Volleyball
Hollis Brookline 3, Winnacunnet 0
The Cavaliers improved to 12-0 on the season with a sweep of the Warriors. Game scores were 25-13, 25-8 and 25-19.
Sam Hersey had 23 assists, 19 service points, five aces and three kills for HB while Ethan Norris had 11 kills and six digs. Teo Morel added five kills and nine service points while Tyler Wu was outstanding defensively.
