Around the Granite State: Manchester Memorial girls basketball picks up win over Merrimack

The Manchester Memorial High School girls basketball team went on the road and grabbed a 42-37 win Thursday over Merrimack.
Avery Jenkins had 15 points to lead the Crusaders while Jaelyn Hartford added nine points and Taylor Angerami chipped in eight points.
The Tomahawks got 12 points apiece from Meghan McCarthy and Abby Herod while Avary Cruz recorded six points.
Concord Christian 62, Exeter 49
The Blue Hawks fell to the Kingsmen at home on Thursday.
Anna McGuinness scored 17 points to lead Exeter and Jess Melick recorded 15 points.
Salem 50, Portsmouth 33
Lindsay Goetz scored 14 points to lead the Blue Devils to a victory over the Clippers on Wednesday.
Makayla Burns added nine points while Lilly George, Ella Mostos and Morgann Raskow each had eight points.
Bridget Emery led Portsmouth with 11 points, including three 3-pointers, and Maggie Pataki finished with 10 points.
