Around the Granite State: Merrimack girls lacrosse comes back for win against Dover (video)
Here are Friday’s results from high school lacrosse action.
DOVER – Ava Martin and Jackie Hayes each had four goals Friday to help the Merrimack High School girls lacrosse team come back for a 12-9 win against Dover.
Martin also had two assists and Hayes had one while Payton Trepaney (one assist) and Liv Mitchell had two goals apiece. Lexi Bell recorded an assist.
The Tomahawks (2-3) trailed by two goals at halftime, but were able to come back, thanks in part to the play of goalie Emma Shorette in the fourth quarter.
Dover (3-3, No. 10 in the NHHSSports Coaches Poll) has dropped three of its last four games.

No. T4 Pinkerton 11, No. 9 Nashua South 5
Hannah Lisauskas had four goals and an assist to lead the Astros past the Panthers.
Bella Pinardi added three goals and an assist and Hailey Schnider scored a goal and had an assist. Frannie Doyle, Piper Knowlton and Mia Eckerman had a goal apiece.
Sara DiClemente finished with 11 saves, including the 200th of her high school career.
South got three goals from Ella Benzekri while Morgan Uzdanovich and Maddie Matylewski had a goal apiece. Nevaeh Eppolitto had an assist while Keira Walsh made eight saves and Abbey Benotti, Karina Santana, Brynn Tefft and Audrey Mullaney played well on defense.
No. T4 Souhegan 16, Salem 3
Libby Kennedy scored six goals for the Sabers, as they cruised past the Blue Devils.
Natalie Heimarck and Lyla Kimball added three goals apiece and Emma Kennedy had two goals and five assists. Ava Grace and Abby Giannetti each had a goal and an assist.
Catie Schriever (one save) and Vye Hodgdon-Roger (one save) split time in goal while Sophie Jacobs, Marley Bacon, Allison Jordan, Lanai Hickman, Carly Hodgdon-Rogers, Avery Wyborney and Ava Schwoegler played well for Souhegan.
No. 3 Bishop Guertin 14, No. 7 Exeter 6
Arianna Kouchalakos had four goals to help lead the Cardinals to a win over the Blue Hawks.
Lauren Redfern added three goals and an assist and Anna Campel had three goals for Bishop Guertin. Sarah Brunelle scored twice and had an assist and Mariella Tomasello had three assists.
Kamryn Schmitt and Abby Lynn each scored a goal and Lola Dumont played well defensively. Maddy Eder-Linell and Emmerson Danish each played a half in goal and each made three saves.
Boys Lacrosse
No. 1 Bishop Guertin 11, No. 2 Exeter 8
Owen King had three goals and an assist to help Cardinals rally from a halftime deficit for the win.
Cam Hayden recorded two goals and three assists while Brady Dumont and Caleb Yeung had two goals and two assists each. Sean McGarry had a goal and an assist and JP Dunsmoor also scored his first varsity goal.
Alex Dumont and Micah Dunsmoor each added an assist while Mike MacDonough and Will Murphy each made four saves.
Marshall Lasewitz led Exeter with six goals while Owen Williams and Patrick Hathaway had one each. Ethan Bernich had seven saves.
No. 6 Pinkerton 14, Nashua South 2
The Astros snapped their recent skid with a convincing win over the Panthers.
Adam Scala had two goals and two assists for Pinkerton while Matt Gormady had two goals and an assist and Tyler Barry had a goal and an assist. Jeff Gormady and Cody Santomassimo had two goals apiece.
Jimmy Erickson, Aiden Jones, Cole Summers, Jackson Chase and Ryson Michaud. Owen Perkins had four saves and Cody Dumont finished with two, while Dylan Stingel, Alex Tsetseranos and Aiden Jones went 23 of 24 on faceoffs.
Jake Lynn made 17 saves for South.
Concord 9, No. 9 Londonderry 6
Liam Yeatman had three goals and an assist for the Crimson Tide in a win over the Lancers.
Carter Doherty added a goal to go with four assists while Will Chorlian had two goals and an assist. Brayden Beauregard and Tyler Morin had a goal and an assist while Jaden Haas also scored.
Logan Shimer played well in goal for Concord to get the win.
Dover 7, No. 10 Merrimack 3
The Green Wave picked up a win on the road over the Tomahawks, getting three goals from Micah Krick.
Toby Desroches and Silas Brown had two goals apiece while Lukah Ready added two assists and Porter Gray had one. Dom Chalifour finished with 17 saves, extending his state record to 730 career saves.
Merrimack got a goal each from Henry Tobin, Conor Dunn and Gavin Hickey.
No. 3 Bedford 20, Nashua North 3
Derek Kulesza scored three goals, including the 100th of his career, to help lead the Bulldogs to a win over the Titans.
Parker Gutpa also had three goals to go with two assists and Bennett Matthews had a goal and four assists. Sam Barad (one assist) and Luke Purnell each scored twice and Kevin Mastrodicasa had a goal and two assists.
JJ Gaffney, John Purnell and Kevin Sheradin had a goal and an assist apiece while Dylan Riccio, Brycen D’Urso, Alex Gabree, Brody Helton and Evan Capello each scored a goal. Joey Miller, Alex Cotnoir, Brian Riccio and Ian Fletcher each had an assist.
North got a goal each from Alec Jenkerson and Dylan Noble while Jace Colon made 10 saves.
No. 4 Derryfield 22, Spaulding 1
Alex Murray had five goals and two assists and Chili Cabot scored four times and had three assists to lead the Cougars past the Red Raiders.
John Kramer had a goal and five assists while Cooper Ketcham had two goals and two assists. Brady Doldo, Ryan Maxwell and Max Fowler had two goals and an assist apiece and Logan Dyer also scored twice.
Michael Grunbeck and Tad Faulkner chipped in with a goal apiece and Dom Cercone had three assists. Parker Lebiedz (two saves), Liam England (three) and Jaxon DeYoung (two) split time in goal while Logan Purvis, Dylan Clyne and Jackson Hatfield were 21 of 25 on faceoffs.
Jonas Levesque had the lone goal for Spaulding and Hector Zerone finished with six saves.
Hollis Brookline 17, Keene-Monadnock 8
Ben Dufoe had eight goals and three assists as the Cavaliers rolled to a victory.
Bennett Torgersen added four goals and Colin Magnuszewski recorded three goals while Connor Cook had two goals and an assist. Bryson Giersch, Mike O’Hearn and JP Torgersen played well offensively.
Aiden O’Hearn and Deegan Herrera played well on defense.
