Around the Granite State: Nashua South girls basketball ends regular season with win over Concord

Here are results from Tuesday’s high school sports action.

CONCORD – Nicole De Jesus scored 22 points to help the Nashua High School South girls basketball team to a 66-28 win Tuesday over Concord.

De Jesus had two 3-pointers while Addie Borden hit three 3s and finished with 12 points for the Panthers (8-10 in D1). Karina O’Donnell added nine points and Hailey Cote finished with eight points.

Makayla Root led Concord (0-18) with 16 points.

Pinkerton 71, Dover 51

The Astros wrapped up the No. 6 seed in D1 with a win over the Green Wave.

Sydney Gerossie led Pinkerton (13-5) with 25 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, while Brooke Benz added 20 points. Kaylee Dupuis was also in double figures with 17 points, with two 3s.

Dover (12-6) will be the No. 7 seed in the tournament.

Exeter 67, Manchester Central-West 36

Karli Scherpf scored 22 points to lead the Blue Hawks to the win over Central-West.

Exeter (11-7) clinches the No. 9 seed in the D1 tournament with the win, while Central-West will be the No. 16 seed.

Salem 54, Timberlane 20

The Blue Devils clinched the No. 8 seed with a win over the Owls.

Lindsay Goetz led the way for Salem (12-6) with 27 points, including two 3-pointers, while Lily George finished with 10 points.

Rylee Donahue had eight points, with two 3s, to lead Timberlane (10-8) while Ella Lampron and Sam Mooney each had four points. The Owls will be the No. 11 seed in the tournament.

Londonderry 74, Keene 45

The Blackbirds came up short in their D1 finale against the Lancers.

McKenna Nelson scored 16 points and had six rebounds to lead Keene (8-10), which will be the No. 13 seed in the D1 playoffs.

Windham 47, Alvirne 43

The Jaguars wrapped up the regular season with a road win over Alvirne.

Meghan Husson led the way for Windham (16-2 in D1) with 13 points while Avery Steffanides and Gabby Gullifa each had 10 points.

Trinity 62, Manchester Memorial 38

The Crusaders ended the regular season with a loss to the Pioneers.

Ashlyn Bartnicki led Memorial with nine points and Elizabeth Champagne finished with eight markers while Jenavyzia Collazo and Janiyah Lofton each had seven points.

Oyster River 72, Hanover 47

Vivian O’Quinn had 21 points to lead the Bobcats to a road win over the Bears.

Olivia Andersen added 16 points while Ashling Ferris and Wren Horne were also both in double figures, with 13 and 10 points, respectively.

Souhegan 62, ConVal 23

The Sabers wrapped up their regular season with a big home win over the Cougars.

Tess Jancar scored 11 of her game-high 21 points in the first quarter, as Souhegan got out to a 16-2 lead. Nevaya Mortimer added eight points while Phoebe Faucher chipped in with six points and Caroline Drum finished with five markers.
