Around the Granite State: O’Donnell gets 100th goal in Nashua South girls lacrosse’s win

Karina O’Donnell had four goals, including the 100th of her high school career, to help lead the Nashua High School South girls lacrosse team to a 17-7 win Monday morning over Salem.

Maren Lowell led the Panthers (5-1, No. 7 in the MerchSquared.com/NHHSSports Coaches Poll) with six goals and an assist and Carly Benzekri also had four goals. Addie Borden recorded three goals and two assists.

Briley Landsteiner had an assist and Lilee Petricca made four saves in goal while Nevaeh Eppolito, Karina Santana, Lexi McGuire and Maddy Langer played well defensively for South.

Salem (0-6) got two goals each from Emily Young and Katie Wood. Haylee Bernard, Nicole Ringdahl and Morgann Raskow had a goal apiece while Olivia Schoenrock made six saves and Zeynep Yildirim had four.

No. 6 Exeter 22, Nashua North 3

Phoebe Christenson and Racquel Battle had four goals and an assist apiece to lead the Blue Hawks to the win over the Titans.

Karli Scherpf and Grace McIlroy added three goals and two assists apiece for Exeter (6-1) and Claire Wilhelm, Hailey O’Kane and Josie Drunsic each had a goal and two assists.

Brooke Battle also scored twice while Anna Lieberman, Ellie Dean and Kate Hyles finished with a goal each. Molly Byrne finished with four saves.

Goffstown 8, Hollis Brookline 5

Sydney Lavoie had two goals and an assist to lead the Grizzlies to a win over the Cavaliers.

Peyton Duff also had two goals and Abby Dubreuil had one while Dominique Webb made six saves.

Coe-Brown 7, Lebanon 2

Carolyn Clawson had two goals to lead the Bears to a win over the Raiders on Saturday.

Alexis Muse made 13 saves and had eight groundballs for Coe-Brown while Ady Moynihan and Bre Peters also played well defensively.

Abigail Auch and Norah Burns had a goal apiece for Lebanon while Drew Cantor made 18 saves.

Boys Lacrosse

No. 3 Pinkerton 23, Keene-Monadnock 0

Kyle Ushkevich had six goals and an assist to help the Astros pick up a road win over the Blackbirds.

Jackson Farrell added three goals and six assists while Jack Ford scored four goals and Jeff Gormady had two goals and an assist for Pinkerton (5-0). Dylan Stingel, Aiden Jones and Tyler Pinardi combined to win 24 of 28 faceoffs.

Gavin Burwell and Owen Perkins combined on the shutout in goal while Cole Mackin and Ryan Hewes were solid defensively at midfield and Brenden Carney also played well defensively.

Concord 12, Hollis Brookline 11 (2OT)

The Cavaliers (5-1) got four goals and an assist from JP Torgersen while Noah Taylor had three goals and an assist. Mike O’Hearn had two goals and four assists and Bennett Torgersen also scored twice.

Luke Kinne made 11 saves and Pat Masoni, Aiden O’Hearn and Dillon Kinney played well defensively.

Dover 12, Manchester 6

Parker Ketcham had four goals and two assists to lead the Green Wave to a win over the Kings.

Cooper Ketcham also had four goals and Tobey Desroches had three goals and an assist. Geffin Adorian scored his first varsity goal while Logan Carter had three assists and Ben Tower added a helper for Dover (3-3).

Danny Bretz made 14 saves in the win and Owen Wood won 15 of 22 faceoffs.

No. 4 Exeter 20, Nashua North 1

Nico Bottari had the lone goal for the Titans, with Dylan Noble picking up an assist.

Josh Parsons made 13 saves for North.

No. 2 Bedford 18, Windham 3

The Jaguars (3-3) got a goal each from Josh Trudel, Sam Kramer and Andrew Gzryb. Anthony Shi made 16 saves for Windham.
