Around the Granite State: Paquette nets 100th point in Souhegan girls hockey’s win over Pinkerton
Shannon Paquette scored four goals, including the 100th point of her high school career, to help lead the Souhegan High School girls hockey team to a 9-2 win Wednesday over Pinkerton Academy.
Shannon Paquette scored four goals, including the 100th point of her high school career, to help lead the Souhegan High School girls hockey team to a 9-2 win Wednesday over Pinkerton Academy.
Paquette went into the game needing four points and scored three times in the second period, including a power play goal just before the buzzer, and reached the milestone on a goal with 6:58 left in the game. The senior is the first Souhegan player to reach a hundred points.
Ryleigh Tobin had two goals and an assist and Clare Woodford added a goal and an assist while Julia Pinkham had two assists. Simonne Dodge and Callie McBride also had a goal apiece for the Sabers (3-1-1).
Pinkerton (0-4) got a goal each from Molly Fahey and Jordyn Wasiejko.
