Pinkerton Astros

Tyler Pinardi scored the game-winning goal in overtime to give the Pinkerton Academy boys lacrosse team an 8-7 road win over Longmeadow (Mass.) High School.

Pinardi helped the Astros (6-1, No. 2 in the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Coaches Poll) take an early lead thanks a strong performance on faceoffs, but the Lancers were able to get back into the game.

Matt Gormady led Pinkerton with three goals while Pinardi and Jackson Farrell added two goals apiece and Rison Michaud added two assists.

Zack Kelley and Justin Howell had solid games at defensive midfield while Brendan Carney, Nate Smith, Caleb Hobden and Brady Blaszka played well defensively in front of goalie Owen Perkins.
