BEDFORD – Kyle Ushkevich scored seven goals as the Pinkerton Academy boys lacrosse team got up early Friday night and cruised to a 20-7 win over Bedford.

The win gives the Astros (14-4, No. 3 in the MerchSquared.com/NHHSSports Coaches Poll) the No. 1 seed in the Division I playoffs, while the Bulldogs (13-5, No. 2) will be the No. 3 seed.

Matt Gormady added four goals and two assists and Levi Weaver had a goal and five assists for Pinkerton. Jackson Farrell also scored three times while Dylan Stingle and Ben Quintiliani had a goal and two assists apiece and Jeff Gormady had a goal and an assist.

Cole Mackin and Tyler Pinardi scored a goal apiece and Brendan Carney had an assist while Brady Blaszka, Ronan Connors and Tyler Barry also played well. Gavin Burwell finished with 15 saves.

Bedford got two goals and two assists from Bennett Matthews while John Purnell and Luke Purnell each had two goals. Brody Helton added a goal and an assist and Evan Capello also had an assist while Ethan Conn made 11 saves.

Hollis Brookline 10, No. 10 Timberlane 6

Noah Taylor came up big for the Cavaliers, helping to turn momentum while adding two goals, an assist and two caused turnovers, in a win over the Owls.

JP Torgersen added three goals and an assist while Bennett Torgersen and Sam Petrella scored two goals apiece. Colin Magnuszewski also scored and Vittorio Masoni had an assist for HB (13-5).

Mason Acheson did well on faceoffs and Patrick Masoni, Tyler Allen and Aiden O’Hearn played well defensively. Levi Mitchell finished with 12 saves.

Timberlane (12-4) got two goals and two assists from Landon Petry while Cam Bonfiglio also scored twice. Rocco Psareas added a goal and an assist while Gavin Dubois also scored.

Joseph Hughes made 14 saves for the Owls and Mark St. Jean won seven faceoffs.

Souhegan 10, Alvirne 9

The Sabers wrapped up their season by getting a road win over the Broncos.

Ayden McGrath had four goals and an assist and Nate Hill had a goal and four assists to lead Souhegan (4-13). Louis Berlack added a goal and an assist and Sean Reardon finished with 19 saves.

Alvirne got five goals and two assists from Brady Orr and Chris Darby finished with two goals.

Girls Lacrosse

No. 6 Winnacunnet 13, No. 9 Merrimack 8

The Warriors wrapped up the top seed in D2 while handing the Tomahawks their first loss of the season.

Elle Emery had three goals and three assists for Winnacunnet (15-1), which has won 14 straight games. Sky Mace and McKinley Fowler added three goals and an assist apiece while Ari Rizzo, Annika Jacques and Sarah Rademacher had a goal apiece.

Madison Brunelle finished with 13 saves in the win.

No. 4 Exeter 12, Dover 3

Phoebe Christenson had two goals and an assist, including the 100th goal of her career, as the Blue Hawks knocked off the Green Wave.

Karli Scherpf added three goals and two assists and Grace McIlroy had three goals and an assist for Exeter (14-4). Hailey O’Kane had two goals and an assist while Riley Benevides had a goal and an assist and Ellie Dean also scored.

Molly Byrne finished with three saves for the Blue Hawks.

Coe-Brown 12, Pelham 10

Avery Keefe had four goals and two assists, including her 100th career point, as the Bears ended the regular season with a win over the Pythons.

Ellie Escabi added three goals and Rose Bean had two goals and an assist for Coe-Brown (8-6). Alexis Thomas, Molly Skahan and Lillian Peabody each scored a goal and Carolyn Clawson had an assist.

Breanne Peters, Ady Moynihan, Kenzie Silva and Brooke Kozlowski played well defensively for the Bears.

Oyster River-Newmarket 19, Spaulding 3

Izzy Orrell finished with 12 saves for the Red Raiders to wrap up her high school career with 908 saves.

Rachel Baughman scored twice for Spaulding and Payton Boumel also had a goal.

Boys Volleyball

Hollis Brookline 3, Goffstown 0

The Cavaliers wrapped up the regular season with a sweep of the Grizzlies. Game scores were 25-15, 25-21 and 25-20.

Ethan Norris recorded 22 kills and 16 digs and also broke the school record for blocks with his 91st. James Kelly had five kills and Sam Hersey added 11 assists. Zac Wu also recorded 12 assists in the win.
