Around the Granite State: Pinkerton girls lacrosse handed loss by Central Catholic
Here are results from Saturday’s high school sports action.
DERRY – The Pinkerton Academy girls lacrosse team dropped a Saturday morning out-of-state contest, 17-6, to Central Catholic, of Lawrence, Mass.
Hailey Schnider led the Astros (1-2, No. 4 in the NHHSSports Coaches Poll) with three goals while Hannah Lisauskas had a goal and three assists. Bella Pinardi and Elise Collins also had a goal apiece.
Sara DiClemente had three saves and Paige Fenner had four stops.
Kerri Finneran led the Raiders with four goals and five assists and Nicolette Licare had four goals and three assists.

No. 10 Winnacunnet 12, Londonderry 5
The Warriors improved to 3-0 with a with an non-division win over the Lancers.
Sky Mace, Elle Emery and Shea Graham each had three goals for Winnacunnet, while Reese Gandt scored twice. McKinley Fowler also had a goal and Cadence Oleniak made seven saves.
Boys Lacrosse
St. John’s Shrewsbury 10, No. 5 Pinkerton 7
Cole Summers had two goals and an assist for the Astros, but it wasn’t enough on the road against St. John’s Shrewsbury.
Ricky Wong added two goals and Matt Morison and Ben Quintiliani had a goal and two assists. Cody Santomassimo also scored while Adam Scala and Jimmy Erickson each had an assist.
Owen Perkins made 12 saves for Pinkerton (2-1) while Dylan Stingel, Alex Tsetseranos and Aiden Jones went 7 of 16 on faceoffs.
Matt Lemay led St. John’s with four goals and Jacob Beaulai added two. Sean Granger, Cole Citro and Charlie Carlstrom also had a goal apiece while Aaron Ricketts made 10 saves.
Concord 9, Dover 8
Carter Doherty had five goals to lead the Crimson Tide to a win against the Green Wave, in a game that was played at Laconia’s Bank of NH Stadium.
Jaden Haas added four goals for Concord while Brayden Beauregard had three assists. Benjamin Ryder and Tyler Morin had an assist apiece while Logan Shimer was solid in goal.
Laconia 17, Stevens 4
The Sachems picked up a win over the Cardinals in their first game of the season on Friday.
Sam Mize and Brady Stevens each had three goals and an assist while Brody Rollins had a goal and five assists. Paul Ganchi also scored three times and JP Harriman had two goals and two assists.
Eli Nadeau, Ben Hogg, Kayden Noyes, Will Stafford and Kyle Cameron had a goal apiece and Wady Winaya added an assist.
