Around the Granite State: Pinkerton girls lacrosse keeps rolling with over Nashua South (video)
Here are results from Saturday’s high school lacrosse action.
DERRY – Hannah Lisauskas had four goals and four assists to help the Pinkerton Academy girls lacrosse team to a 15-7 win Saturday morning against Nashua South.
Delaney Summers added five goals and an assist and Francesca Doyle scored twice and had an assist for the Astros (8-1, No. 3 in the MerchSquared.com/NHHSSports Coaches Poll).
Ava Michelinie had a goal and an assist while Elise Collins, Bella Petralia and Ellie Henry scored a goal apiece. Sara DiClemente made seven saves and Paige Fenner added one.
The Panthers (6-2, No. 7) got two goals apiece from Maren Lowell (two assists), Carly Benzekri (one assist) and Karina O’Donnell. Addie Borden also had a goal and Lilee Petricca finished with seven saves.
Boys Lacrosse
No. 5 Derryfield 19, Massabesic 8
RJ Proulx (one assist) and Emerson Stover each had four goals as the Cougars rolled past the Mustangs from Waterboro, Maine.
Ryan Maxwell added three goals and four assists and Dom Cercone had three goals and three assists for Derryfield (7-0), which led 11-0 after one quarter. Brady Doldo scored twice and had an assist and Jackson Hatfield had a goal and an assist.
Garrett Lande had a goal and Heath Mueller had two assists. Hatfield, Dylan Clyne, Awaab Mousa and Isaac Kosakowski combined to go 18 of 26 on faceoffs while Liam England made six saves and Jaxon DeYoung had five.
Hingham (Mass.) 16, No. 3 Pinkerton 8
The Astros fell behind early but cut the lead down to four in the fourth quarter before the Harbormen pulled away for the win.
Ben Quintiliani had a goal and two assists for Pinkerton (6-2) while Kyle Ushkevich and Levi Weaver had two goals apiece. Dylan Stingel was strong on faceoffs, winning 16 of 22.
Owen Perkins played well in goal while Nate Smith, Caleb Hobden, Ronan Connors and Brenden Carney also had solid games for the Astros.
