EXETER – Ben Purcell and Lucas Patton each had two goals in the fourth quarter as the Portsmouth High School boys lacrosse team rallied Wednesday for an 11-7 win over Exeter.

Zac Amend led the Clippers (7-0, No. 5 in the NHHSSports Coaches Poll) with five goals while Purcell finished with three scores. Masi Shone also scored and had an assist while Nick Smith and Briggs Catino each had an assist.

Kai Patterson finished with 10 saves for Portsmouth.

Owen Williams had three goals and two assists to lead the Blue Hawks (6-1, No. 2). while Tyler Bland, Patrick Hathaway, Sean Delello and Marshall Lasewitz each had a goal. Ethan Bernich finished with 11 saves.

No. 7 Timberlane 17, Souhegan 7

Mike Savage and Rocco Psareas each scored four goals to lead the Owls to a win over the Sabers.

Jack Condon (one assist) and Austin Charest added three goals apiece and Landon Petry had two goals and an assist. Liam Corman also scored and had an assist while Cole Gerry and Gary Shivell each had an assist.

Joe Hughes finished with five saves and Bryce Carter had seven stops.

Windham 15, Nashua South 0

Ryan Parke and Matt Desmarais each had four goals and two assists to help the Jaguars to a shutout of the Panthers.

Nate Crowley had a goal and dished out four assists and Casey Kramer finished with six saves.

Hollis Brookline 16, Spaulding 6

Connor Cook had four goals and an assist to lead the Cavaliers past the Red Raiders.

Ben Dufoe had two goals and four assists while JP Torgersen (one assist) and Bennett Torgersen each had three goals. Colin Magnuszewski scored twice and Mike O’Hearn (one assist) and Vittorio Masoni had a goal apiece.

Rudy Rosa also had an assist and Luke Kinney finished with seven saves. Deegan Herrera and Cayden Emmons played well defensively.

Longmeadow (Mass.) 18, No. 6 Pinkerton 4

The Astros fell behind 9-0 in the first quarter to the Lancers and dropped their fourth in a row.

Ricky Wong and Adam Scala had a goal and an assist each while Matt Gormady and Jeff Gormady each scored a goal. Jimmy Erickson added an assist.

Cody Dumont made 13 saves for Pinkerton and Gavin Burwell had two stops. Dylan Stingel, Alex Tsetseranos and Aiden Jones combined to go 9 of 23 on faceoffs.

No. 8 St. Thomas 18, Concord 7

The Crimson Tide got five goals and two assists from Carter Doherty, but it wasn’t enough against the Saints.

Will Chorlian added two goals and Brayden Beauregard had two assists while Jaden Haas and Tyler Morin had an assist each.

Girls Lacrosse

No. T4 Souhegan 15, No. 1 Portsmouth 14

The Sabers went on the road to hand the Clippers their first loss, getting four goals and two assists from Izzy Stevenson.

Libby Kennedy added three goals and Natalie Heimarck had two goals and an assist while Lyla Kimball and Lanai Hickman each scored twice. Abby Giannetti also had a goal and an assist for Souhegan.

Allison Gordan and Shea Llewellyn played well and goalie Catie Schriever finished with nine saves.

No. 8 Windham 12, Hollis Brookline 11 (3OT)

Ella Gallinelli scored in triple overtime to give the Jaguars the win over the Cavaliers.

Sophia Ponzini had five goals and two assists and Chloe Hall recorded three goals and four assists for Windham. Emma Kendzulak (one assist), Darby Madden and Casey Dolliver also scored while Mia Gallinelli had an assist.

Jaidyn Seitzer finished with four saves, including one at the end of the second overtime to keep the Jaguars alive.

Cailean Roy led HB with seven goals, as the Cavs rallied from a four-goal deficit to force the overtime. Sabrina Hill added two goals and four assists and Samantha Smith also scored twice and had an assist.

Addy Dougherty made seven saves while McKenna Maguire, Juliette Ogren, Nyah Jernberg, Isabella Martinos, Maddison Caetano and Elise Broadhurst played well for HB.

No. T4 Pinkerton 16, Londonderry 11

Hannah Lisauskas had three goals and four assists to help the Astros get past the Lancers.

Hailey Schnider added four goals and Bella Pinardi had three goals and two assists, as Pinkerton led by one at halftime before pulling away in the second half.

Elise Collins also had three goals while Frannie Doyle, Anna Perkins and Mia Eckerman had a goal apiece. Sara DiClemente finished with 10 saves.
