Around the Granite State: Salem girls basketball gets another win
Salem Blue Devils

The Salem High School girls basketball team improved to 4-0 in Division I with a 45-16 win Friday night over Manchester Memorial.

Shae O’Laughlin led the Blue Devils with nine points while Liv DeFrancesco added eight points and six rebounds. Morgann Raskow also had eight points to go with four steals and Caroline Case finished with five points and seven rebounds.

Memorial got seven points from Jenavyzia Collazo and Avery Jenkins finished with five markers.

Oyster River 46, Kingswood 37

The Bobcats led by as many as 23 points in the third quarter but had to hang on late to get the win over the Knights.

Jazzy Alvarez led Oyster River with 16 points and Ashling Ferris added 15 points. Wren Horne scored five points for the Bobcats and Payton Drapeau added four markers.

Exeter 73, Concord 22

Jessica Melick had 18 points and eight rebounds to lead the Blue Hawks past the Crimson Tide.

Lexy Rogers was also in double figures with 14 points along with  five assists and three steals. Maya Simeone added nine points and Nicole Melick had eight points and five assists.

Pinkerton 61, Alvirne 23

Brooke Benz scored 15 points as the Astros rolled to a win over the Broncos.

Madison Leccese was also in double figures with 10 points while Ayvree Hamilton had eight points and Julia Caruso had six markers.

Portsmouth 48, Winnacunnet 30

Jolie Robichaud scored 18 points to help lead the Clippers past the Warriors.

Jenna Lucy added 16 points for Portsmouth while Leiana Cory and Reese McCauley each had six points. Tyler Ricker also played well in the win.
