Around the Granite State: Salem’s Wood gets milestone goal in win over Concord

Katie Wood scored seven goals, including the 100th of her career, to help lead the Salem High School girls lacrosse team to a 14-10 win Friday over Concord.

Grace Hoover added four goals for the Blue Devils while Madison Wilson, Althea Schaefer and Morgann Raskow had a goal apiece.

Zeynep Yildirim made seven saves and Olivia Schoenrock had five saves for Salem.

No. 10 St. Thomas 21, Pelham 8

Talula Gregg had nine goals for the Saints, as they cruised past the Pythons.

Lizzy Holden had five goals and Charlott De Tolla scored four times while Reece Anderson added two goals.

Ava Lyder, Corinne Connelly and Kensley Harris had a goal apiece while Lena Shaheen and Lyder played well defensively.

Goffstown 18, Keene-Monadnock 4

Neave Revaz and Peyton Duff each scored four goals as the Grizzlies picked up a win over the Blackbirds.

Trinity Lunn added three goals and an assist and Sydney Lavoie had two goals for Goffstown. Addyson Glejzer recorded a goal and an assist.

Ella Coletti, Mackenna Fisher, Paige Winters and Stella Enman had a goal apiece and McKenna Kelly recorded six saves.

John Stark 12, Coe-Brown 10

Zoe Lawson scored seven goals to lead the Generals past the Bears.

Kaycie Rhodes added two goals and three assists while Ryan Mucci and Jillian Fredettehad a goal apiece for John Stark.

Carolyn Clawson had three goals to lead Coe-Brown while Ellie Escabi and Kendall Jackson scored two goals apiece. Avery Keefe, Brooke Kozlowski and Natalie George each had a goal.

Alexis Muse played well in goal, breaking the program record for saves; the Bears goalie currently has 362.

Boys Lacrosse

No. 6 Portsmouth 8, Goffstown 3

Henry Purcell had three goals to help the Clippers get a win over the Grizzlies.

Thijs Beelen added two goals for Portsmouth (7-4) while Reilly Collins had a goal and an assist. Sawyer Bouvier and Trevor Sifferlen added a goal apiece.

Sam Biddle won 10 of 14 faceoffs and Kai Paterson finished with 11 saves.

Gilford 3, Milford 2 (OT)

Brady Allessandro scored in overtime to give the Golden Eagles a win over the Spartans.

Christian Nunez also had two goals for Gilford.

Tyler Noble and Dylan MacLeod had a goal apiece for Milford and Rocco Bartling had 14 saves.

Laconia 21, Pelham 9

Eli Nadeau had 10 goals and three assists to help the Sachems roll to a win over the Pythons.

Brady Stevens added seven goals and an assist and Paul Ganchi scored twice for Laconia. Breckenridge O’Reilly and Ben Hogg each had a goal.

Cam Lacroix, Jacob Mize, Chris Amato and Rock Londer had an assist apiece and Stephen Mingo Timmins made 18 saves.

No. 1 Bishop Guertin 22, Nashua North 2

Jared Gauthier and Dylan Noble had a goal two apiece for the Titans in their loss to the Cardinals

Cooper Koutalakis finished with 10 saves for North.

No. 4 Exeter 16, Dover 6

The Green Wave came up short in a loss to the Blue Hawks despite three goals and an assist from Cooper Ketcham.

Parker Ketcham and Logan Carter added a goal apiece and Tobey Desroches also had a game apiece.

Hanover 6, Souhegan 4

Jake Bornstein (two assists) and Mike Anderson each had two goals for the Bears in a road win over the Sabers.

Sam Bagatell added a goal and two assists and John Schere also scored. Henry Cotter made 12 saves for Hanover.

Souhegan got a goal and an assist from Muse Cross-Swartzell while Matt Mullen, Chase Wilmot and Ayden McGrath had a goal apiece.

Boys Volleyball

Hollis Brookline 3, John Stark 0

The Cavaliers improved to 8-0 on the year with a sweep of the Generals. Game scores were 25-18, 25-22 and 25-15.

Ethan Norris had 18 kills, 12 digs and two aces and James Kelly had eight kills and three blocks for HB. Alex Howe added three aces, four kills and 10 digs while Sam Hersey had 22 assists.
