Around the Granite State: Souhegan field hockey grabs win over ConVal
Here are results from Tuesday’s high school field hockey action.
Ori Dart scored twice to help lead the Souhegan High School field hockey team to a 5-0 win Tuesday on the road against ConVal.
Dart scored on a penalty stroke and Abbey Gray and Ella Normandin also had goals for the Sabers (13-1-1, No. 6 in the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Coaches Poll). Scarlett Lecolst, Ella Russell and Eme Godin each had an assist for Souhegan.
Mascoma Valley 6, Monadnock 0
Makenna Houston had four goals and an assist to lead the Royals to a win over the Huskies on senior night.
Ellie McGrody and Tori Petty also had a goal apiece for Mascoma Valley (11-3-1). Houston and McGrody and fellow seniors Georgia Kondi, Samantha Harkins, Aubrey Elizabeth, Myah Crandall and Anna Emerson were recognized before the game.
