AMHERST – Romy Jain threw four touchdown passes in the first half Friday night to help lead the Souhegan High School football team to a 49-6 win over Plymouth.

Jain connected with Connor Cassidy twice for scores, with one each to Cole Manning and JJ Bright.

Bright also had two rushing touchdowns for the Sabers (4-0 in Division II, 4-1 overall).

Plymouth (4-1) got its lone touchdown on the ground from Gabe Kean.

Bedford 45, Nashua North 0

The Bulldogs (5-0) recorded their fourth shutout in a row in a D1 West Conference win over the Titans (3-2).

Brody Helton ran for 174 yards and three touchdowns while Danny Black had 46 yards rushing and a touchdown and was 6 of 10 passing for 79 yards and a score.

Alek Corrvieau also ran in a touchdown and Jack Riso caught another score, as Bedford had 466 total yards.

Field Hockey

Londonderry 3, Manchester Central-West 1

Three players scored a goal Friday night for the Lancers as they got the win over Central-West.

Kiera Strike, Ava Windisch and Sara Daniels each had a goal for Londonderry while Ashleigh Leone had two assists.

Makayla Desilets had a goal for Central-West and Harriet Barber recorded an assist. Chloe Gilroy made 19 saves.

Merrimack 2, Nashua South 0

The Panthers fell to the Tomahawks on the road on Friday.

Xiadani DeLaLima made eight saves for South while Karina O’Donnell, Maren Lowell, Keira Walsh and Nyah Musa played well.

Hollis Brookline 1, ConVal 0

Emily Tebbetts scored the game’s lone goal to give the Cavaliers their eighth win in a row on Thursday,

Nyah Jernberg picked up an assist on the goal for HB.

No. 5 Bishop Guertin 2, Keene 1

The Cardinals held on for a win Thursday over the Blackbirds in a game that was started on Sept. 11.

Tessa Pearson scored the lone goal for Keene while Trinity Williamson made eight saves.

No. 6 Pinkerton 6, Manchester Memorial 1

Jaelyn Crossman had four goals to lead the Astros to a win over the Crusaders on Wednesday.

Natalie Paradzick and Tatum Billingsley also had a goal each while Hannah Lisauskas, Paige Murray and Ava Bennett each recorded an assist. Elise LeBlanc made four saves in goal and Madyson Porter also played.

Memorial got a goal from Rylee Donovan and Hollis Velie had seven saves.

Bedford 5, Nashua South 1

Erin Flaherty had a goal but it wasn’t enough for the Panthers in a loss to the Bulldogs on Wednesday.

Saige Devins picked up an assist and Xiadani DeLaLime made 10 saves.

Hollis Brookline 1, Kingswood 0

Emily Tebbetts scored off an assist from Nyah Jernberg to give the Cavs the win over the Knights on Wednesday.

Rae Kline made two saves in the victory.

Concord 5, Manchester Central-West 0

Chloe Gilroy made 34 saves for Central-West on Wednesday in a loss to the Crimson Tide.

Jayla Murphy and Rosie Tague-Bleau played well for Central-West.

Londonderry 1, Salem 0

The Lancers grabbed a win Wednesday from the Blue Devils on a goal by Ava Windisch.

Maya Silvestro had an assist on the score and Abbigail Cook made four saves.

Salem got eight saves from goalie Lyndsey Troisi.

Keene 3, Nashua North 0

McKenna Nelson had two goals to help lead the Blackbirds to the win over the Titans on Wednesday.

Tessa Pearson also scored while Cece Walier and Harper Zalaski had an assist each.

Lilly Rowell and Trinity Williamson split time in goal.

Girls Volleyball

Windham 3, Hollis Brookline 2

The Cavaliers fell on the road to the Jaguars on Thursday. Game scores were 20-25, 21-25, 25-21, 28-26 and 16-14.

Kate Berrigan had 13 kills, three blocks and one ace for HB (8-2) while Lolly Adair had 10 kills, four blocks and two aces. Annette Schlunk added 13 kills and one ace.

Libby Getter recorded 53 assists and Maia Schnieder had 20 digs and five aces.

Portsmouth Christian 3, Prospect Mountain 0

The Eagles picked up a win in a sweep of the Timberwolves on Wednesday. Game scores were 25-12, 25-20 and 25-23.

Kailey Holt had eight kills, 15 assists, five aces and 10 digs for PCA while Quinn Arico had nine kills, 13 assists, three aces and nine digs.

Madelyn Hardy had five kills and two blocks while Heidi Geyer had six kills and Marion Spurr had eight digs.
