Around the Granite State: Souhegan girls lacrosse gets win over Nashua South (video)
Here are results from Monday’s high school lacrosse action.
NASHUA – Seven players scored Monday as the Souhegan High School girls lacrosse team picked up a 14-4 win over Nashua South.
Libby Kennedy led the way with five goals for the Sabers (8-3, No. 4 in the NHHSSports Coaches Poll) while Emma Kennedy had three goals and Lyla Kimball scored twice.
Natalie Heimarck, Izzy Stevenson, Maddie Lim and Lanai Hickman also had a goal apiece for Souhegan and Catie Schriever finished with seven saves. Abby Giannetti, Marley Bacon, Allison Jordan, Eva Stiles and Carly Hodgdon-Rogers also played well.
Maren Lowell had two goals and an assist for South (5-5, No. 10) and Keira Walsh finished with 11 saves. Ella Benzekri had a goal as did Karina O’Donnell, as she reached the 100-point plateau for her career.

No. 5 Pinkerton 19, Concord 3
The Astros (9-3) hit a number of milestones on the way to a win over the Crimson Tide.
Hailey Schnider had four goals and two assists, as she reached the 200-point mark for her career, and Bella Pinardi scored twice to give her 100 career goals. Hannah Lisauskas had four assists to set Pinkerton’s career assist record.
Delaney Summers added two goals and an assist and Mia Eckerman and Elise Collins also scored twice. Emma Madsen had a goal and two assists while Piper Knowlton, Frannie Doyle, Anna Perkins, Ash Ledoux, Bella Petralia and Lexi Last had a goal apiece.
Kylie Burne finished with three assists and Alyssa Boisvert also had a helper. Paige Fenner finished with nine saves.
No. 3 Bishop Guertin 15, Londonderry 9
Lauren Redfern had three goals and three assists to lead the Cardinals (8-2) to a win over the Lancers (4-6).
Lola Dumont and Arianna Kouchalakos also scored three goals a piece while Kam Schmitt had two goals and an assist. Skylar Naftali added a goal and two assists while Mariella Tomasello had two goals and Bella Dawson also scored.
Londonderry got three goals from Eres DeLorey while Ashleigh Leone and Cora Rogers each had two goals. Summer Butler and Katie O’Neill also added a goal apiece and Lilah Melia added an assist.
St. Thomas 13, Lebanon 2
The Saints improved to 8-0 on the season, outscoring the Raiders 11-1 over the final three quarters to get the win.
Megan Leahy led the way with five goals while Lizzy Holden had four and Charlotte De Tolla added three. Cat Vetter also had a goal while Brea Barker had a season-high 10 saves.
Juliana Grella and Maddie McMahon also played well to lead the defense.
No. 8 Hollis Brookline 19, Alvirne 3
Nine players scored for the Cavaliers (7-3) as they beat the Broncos for their fifth win in a row.
Samantha Smith had three goals and three assists and Sabrina Hill had two goals and four assists to lead the way. Juliette Ogren also scored three goals and had an assist while Cailean Roy and Nyah Jernberg had two goals and three assists apiece.
Charlotte Patrella, Elise Broadhurst and Blake Curley each had two goals and Teagan Arbogast also scored. Lillian Hamilton and Addison Dougherty split time in goal and finished with a save apiece.
Spaulding 9, Manchester Memorial-West 3
The Red Raiders (2-7) picked up their second win of the year thanks in part to 15 saves from Izzy Orrell.
Rachel Baughman scored three goals for Spaulding and Kate McCawley had two scores. Aivah Helton, Sydney Cormier, Sarah Lin and Naomi Brake added a goal apiece.
Armani Ragas and Arianna Hurley each had an assist in the win.
Bishop Brady 14, Campbell 13
The Cougars (1-7) fell in a high-scoring contest against the Giants (1-7), despite getting five goals from Ava Grant.
Callie Hoover and Lili Wilson each had three goals and Maddie Cuvelier scored twice for Campbell.
Kennett 13, Pembroke 2
The Spartans (1-6) came up short against the Eagles (3-3) to drop their second in a row.
Pembroke got a goal each from Laila Al-Shawafi and Kayla Amyot.
Boys Lacrosse
Hollis Brookline 11, Nashua South 6
Connor Cook scored five goals to help lead the Cavaliers to a win over the Panthers.
Ben Dufoe added two goals and two assists for HB (9-3 in D2) while Mike O’Hearn had a goal and two assists. Colin Magnuszewski and Deegan Herrera also had a goal apiece while Luke Kinney made six saves.
South (2-9 in D1) got four goals and an assist from Owen Roy while Broden Landsteiner added two goals. Luke Lowell, Cody Jackson and Grant Imbeault had an assist apiece and Jake Lynn made 22 saves.
Laconia 14, Trinity 0
The Sachems got a great defensive performance to pick up a road win over the Pioneers.
Goalie Stephen Mingo-Timmins and Alex Richardson, Chris Amato, Landen Brothers, Caden Tucker and Yuri Luis played a strong game on defense to get the shutout.
JP Harriman led the offense with four goals and two assists and Carson Tucker had two goals and three assists. Sam Mize scored three times while Brady Stevens and Brody Rollins had two goals and two assists apiece.
Eli Nadeau also scored and was solid on faceoffs.
Merrimack 17, Nashua North 4
Conor Dunn had seven goals and four assists to lead the Tomahawks to their second straight win over the Titans.
Nathaniel Bergen added three goals and an assist for his first varsity hat trick and Sean Anderson had two goals and two assists. Max Giles also scored twice to go with a helper and Cayden Dine and Henry Tobin each had a goal and two assists for Merrimack (5-5)
Brady Perkins also scored while Alex Cayot had an assist, as did Reid Guidish for his first varsity point. Mason Tremblay made 13 saves while Zach Troiani had three stops.
North (1-10) got a goal apiece from Caleb Smith and Nick Wilkinson while Jace Colon finished with 19 saves.
Hopkinton 20, Milford 1
Tyler Descoteaux had the long goal for the Spartans (0-7) while Brennan Cassidy finished with 12 saves in the loss to the Hawks (8-1).
Kennett 9, Merrimack Valley 8
The Eagles (1-5) picked up their first win of the season over the Pride (4-3).
Robert Murphy had five goals to lead the way for Kennett while Cam Fusco and Donny Torrey added two goals apiece .
