Around the Granite State: Spaulding girls basketball tops Merrimack for first win
Here are results from Monday’s high school sports action.
The Spaulding High School girls basketball team got a balanced offensive attack on the way to a 42-33 win Monday on the road against Merrimack.
Ava Damon, Damiya Perkins and Meagan Uraskevich each had eight points to help the Red Raiders get their first win of the season.
Addie Stockbridge and Sydney Daly added seven points apiece and Mackenzie LeBlanc had four points.
Merrimack got 17 points from Avary Cruz and seven points from Abby Herod.
Oyster River 54, Timberlane 43
Olivia Andersen had 20 points and Vivian O’Quinn had 19 points to lead the Bobcats to a come-from-behind win over the Owls.
Wren Horne added 13 points as Oyster River went on a run late in the third quarter to take the lead.
Rylee Donahue and Ella Lampron each had 14 points to lead Timberlane while Sam Mooney had nine points.
