Around the Granite State: Thursday’s Roundup (video)
The Londonderry High School boys lacrosse jumped out to an early lead and held off Nashua South in the fourth quarter Thursday for a 10-4 win in Division I action.
Mike McAllister had three goals and Aidan Dennis (assist) and James Cranmer had two goals each as the Lancers (2-0) led 4-0 at the end of the first quarter and took a 7-1 lead into the fourth. South (0-1) scored the first two goals of the quarter to cut the lead to four, but Londonderry scored twice in the final two minutes to close out the win.
Nate Andrews and Isaac McCune had a goal and an assist each and Cole Keegan had an assist. Patrick Murphy made 14 saves.
South got two goals from Garrett Fleury while Drew Fleury and Joe Bodi had a goal apiece. Devin Linscott had two assists and Nate Radin made eight saves.
Bishop Guertin 21, Hanover 12
The Cardinals went on a 6-0 run in the final 3:22 of the first quarter to blow open a 2-2 game against the Marauders.
Brian Cameron led the way with five goals and four assists and Sam Prunier also had four goals and added an assist. Sean Cameron scored three goals and had an assist and Drew Hailey had two goals and two assists while Brennan McInnis and Ben Abladian had a goal and two assists each
T.J. Quigley had a goal and an assist while Cam Fagan, Nathan Binette, Cameron Erasmi and Mason Carroll also had a goal each. James Heitmiller made five saves in goal.
Hanover (0-3) got five goals and three assists from Graham Penfield and Charlie Baughman and Brian Pattison added two goals each.
Kyle Rozzi, Pete Warhold and Caleb Morse also scored for the Marauders while Colin Rozzi had two assists and Colter Lingelbach-Pierce had one. Mason Winter stopped eight shots.
Nashua North 7, Merrimack 6
Todd Redman had three goals and two assists to lead the Titans (1-1) to their first win of the season.
Martin Flaherty added two goals and Troy Bottari had two goals and an assist for North. Zac Maszczak won 12 of 17 faceoffs and Ryan Palmer made 12 saves.
Merrimack got two goals each from TJ Fasano, Jordan Petrocelli and Jay Lanigan.
Milford 10, Campbell 9 (2OT)
Owen Clary scored in the second overtime to give the Spartans their first win in the Division III season on Wednesday. The game was played at Souhegan High School.
Gavin Urda led Milford with three goals and three assists and Cam O’Shaughnessy added three goals. Liam Joyner scored twice and Matt Hannon also had a goal while Clary added an assist, as did Owen Hutchinson.
Tim Gagnon made seven saves and Josh Shaw and Jaxson Mims played well for Milford, which was down two men in the first overtime.
On Thursday, the Spartans lost 11-8 to Kearsarge. Milford fell behind 5-1 in the first quarter, but outscored the Cougars 7-6 the rest of the way.
O’Shaughnessy had four goals for Milford and Clary had two. Hannah and Hutchinson had a goal apiece while Gagnon made six saves.
John Stark 13, Manchester Memorial 0
The Generals picked up their first win of the season on Wednesday by shutting out the Crusaders. Tim Fatcheric, Kayden Easter and Noah Bellemore had three goals apiece for John Stark (1-1) while Matt Benneter had a goal and three assists and Ethan Konrad earned the shutout.

Souhegan 12, Exeter 10
Abby Cranney had four goals to help the Sabers pick up a win over the Blue Hawks in their season opener on Wednesday.
Taylor Clark added two goals and three assists and Savannah Behn and Clare Woodford had two goals and two assists apiece. Brigid Casey and O’Neill Galinson had a goal each while Taylor Dudek and Nicole O’Rourke each had an assist. Alex LaBrosse made eight saves.
Exeter got three goals and an assist from Jen Rogers and Carly Pierce added two scores. Raye Neil and Allison Kelley each had a goal and two assists while Sweeney Taylor had a goal and an assist. Alyssa Pietz and Dakota Markey had a goal each and Anna Dishort added two assists.
