Around the Granite State: Timberlane boys lacrosse gets another win
Here are results from Saturday’s high school lacrosse action.
Jack Condon scored three goals and had four assists to help lead the Timberlane Regional High School boys lacrosse team to a 14-3 win over Hillsboro-Deering/John Stark on Saturday.
Landon Petry added three goals and two assists and Rocco Psareas also scored three times and dished out an assist. Austin Charest had two goals and two assists and Michael Savage scored twice while Logan Johnson added a goal.
Joe Hughes (one save), Bryce Carty (one) and Ryan Bazidane (three) combined for the win in goal and Mark St. Jean won 14 of 16 faceoffs for the Owls (9-2, No. 6 in the NHHSSports Coaches Poll).
No. 7 Pinkerton 6, Algonquin 4
The Astros shutout the Titans, from Northborough, Mass., in the second half to sure the win.
Matt Gormady had three goals to lead Pinkerton (9-5) while Cody Santomassimo had a goal and an assist. Ben Quintiliani and Jimmy Erickson also scored.
Cole Summers and Rickey Wong each had an assist while Own Perkins made 11 saves and Dylan Stingel was 8 of 13 on faceoffs.
Alvirne 12, Nashua North 1
Alec Jenkerson had the lone goal for the Titans while Jace Colon finished with 13 saves.
Oyster River-Newmarket 13, Dover 6
Alex Moody had four goals to help lead the Bobcats past the Green Wave.
Jake Failla added a goal and dished out four assists while Tyler Callander had three goals and an assist. Talon Beyer scored twice while Evan Plourde, Cole Levesque and Dee Tsakiris had a goal apiece.
Kavi Weber added an assist and Cole Norris made eight saves while Levesque was 11 of 23 on faceoffs.
Girls Lacrosse
Chelmsford (Mass.) 13, Pinkerton 11
The Astros fell on the road to the Lions despite getting a school-record 17 saves from Sara DiClemente.
Hailey Schnider scored four goals and an assist and Delaney Summer added three goals. Hannah Lisauskas had a goal and three assists while Bella Pinardi (one assist), Piper Knowlton and Francesca Doyle had a goal apiece.
