WINDHAM – Esme Johnston and Taylor Alperin each had a goal Monday to help the Timberlane Regional High School field hockey team to a 2-0 win over Windham.

Johnston scored with 6:29 left in the first quarter to give the Owls (3-1) the lead and Alperin scored on a penalty corner with 1:11 remaining in the third for some breathing room. Aria Lobao recorded an assist on the goal.

Austin Peters finished with nine saves, six in the second half, to help Timberlane to its third win in a row.

Dana McAleer recorded eight saves for the Jaguars (0-4).

Plymouth 2, Laconia 0

The Bobcats scored twice in the second half to grab a win from the Sachems.

Lexi Joyce opened the scoring in the third quarter for Plymouth (2-2) while Aaliyah Muzzey added a goal in the fourth quarter, with Amelia Avery picking up an assist.

No. 2 Keene 3, No. 5 Winnacunnet 1

Olive Thatcher scored twice, including on a penalty stroke, and the Blackbirds got a win over the Warriors.

McKenna Nelson also scored off a penalty corner four minutes into the game to give Keene (3-0, No. 2 in the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Coaches poll) the lead. Thatcher drew a stroke with 30 seconds left in the first half and scored to make it 2-0.

Winnacunnet cut the lead in half in the third quarter, but Thatcher answered a minute later to make it a two-goal game again. Maddie Boudle and Natalia Gillis each recorded an assist.

Nashua South 2, Portsmouth 1 (OT)

Isabel Picanco scored with about six minutes remaining in overtime to give the Panthers their first win of the season.

Brooke Berger added a goal and an assist for South (1-3) and Keegan Dolan also had an assist. Meury Navarette made six saves while Addie Borden, Wylie Hart, Emme Christian, Maggie Schmidt and Molly Mullaney played well.

No. 4 Pinkerton 6, Goffstown 0

Gwen Lee had two goals and an assist as the Astros pulled away in the second half for a win over the Grizzlies.

Ashley Clouthier also scored twice while Meg Shea and Ayvree Hamilton added a goal apiece for Pinkerton (3-1). Molly Kuncik had four saves, all in the second quarter to keep it a 1-0 game at halftime, and Fran Doyle played well offensively for the Astros.

Salem 5, Nashua North 0

Olivia Durkin had two goals and the Blue Devils knocked off the Titans.

Avery Aliberti had two assists for Salem (3-0) while Lexi Whipple, Averie Bolduc and Heather Lee O’Rourke also scored. Piper Dezan, Brooke Morse and Nicole Ringdahl each had an assist.

No. 3 Dover 3, No. 6 Exeter 1

Mya Kageleiry scored twice and the Green Wave continued their great start to the season with a win over the Blue Hawks.

Sydney Lane added a goal for Dover (4-0) and Hannah Deroy reocrded an assist. Scarlett Gray made three saves while the Green Wave had nine penalty corners.

No. 1 Bedford 9, Merrimack 1

Teagan O’Donnell had four goals and an assist to help the Bulldogs get the win over the Tomahawks.

Addie Putney also scored twice and Grace Wolf had a goal and two assists for Bedford (3-0). Eloise Montagano and Ella Putney recorded a goal and an assist each while Irene Tsai made five saves.

Jackie Hayes scored for Merrimack (0-3-1) and Annabelle Cassetty finished with 12 saves. Jocelyn Theriault and Grace Massey both played well for the Tomahawks.

Bow 2, John Stark 2 (OT)

Ainsely Herrick scored twice for the Falcons as they played to a tie against the Generals.

Josie Johnson and Peyton Vaughn each had an assist for Bow (3-0-1) while Kylee Jacques and Madelyn Hebert played well.

Zoe Lawson and Claudia Dustin scored for John Stark (3-0-1) and Ava Friberg and Addie DeCew each had an assist.

No. 10 Oyster River 11, Milford 0

Eight players scored for the Bobcats as they improved to 4-0 with a win over the Spartans.

Eliza Farwell had three goals and Rowynn Pickering had a goal and three assists to lead Oyster River. Rose Paxton, Abby Roy, Aiofe Sullivan, Hannah Main and Natalie Buck also played well.

Harley Katchadorian helped the Bobcats’ defense keep Milford off the board.
