Jenna Madigan scored three goals to help lead the Londonderry High School field hockey team to a 6-2 win Wednesday over Salem in a Division I game.

Skylar Hamilton added two goals and two assists for the Lancers (2-0-2) while Emily Cowette scored on a penalty stroke in the fourth quarter. Riley Walter and Kathryn Martin combined to make five saves for Londonderry.

The two teams played to a scoreless tie on Monday, but the Lancers opened the scoring just 1:47 into the game and took a 3-0 lead with 7:41 left in the opening quarter. Salem got one goal back to make it 3-1, and after a scoreless second, that’s where it stood at halftime.

The Blue Devils (0-1-1) cut the lead to one early in the second half but Madigan scored off a penalty corner with 5:12 left in the third to make it 4-2 and Hamilton got her second goal on a corner with no time left in the quarter.

Nashua South 0, Pinkerton 0 (OT)

The Panthers and the Astros battled to a scoreless tie, with South (2-0-1) getting 45 saves from goalie Courtney Tello, including a diving stop late in regulation to keep it tied.

Soleil Dubois, Ruthy Mosley and Olivia Laro also played well defensively, keeping Pinkerton (0-1-2) off the board despite 27 penalty corners for the Astros.

Audra Robinson, Amy Marison and Nora Palkon also played well for South, which plays at Pinkerton on Saturday.

Concord 3, Manchester Memorial 0

It took the Crimson Tide (5-0) some time to get going before picking up their fifth win over the season.

Kait McKinnon, Izzy Sawyer and Maria Ruelas each had a goal for Concord while Emma Beaujouan had two assists. Gaby Pimentel also had a helper and Maria Armaganian distributed the ball well for the Crimson Tide.

John Stark 3, Bow 0

After a scoreless first half Tuesday, the Generals broke the game open in the second to improve to 3-0 on the year.

Bella Pelletier had two goals to lead John Stark and Sydnee Pelletier made 15 saves. Kacie Watson also had a goal and Gracie Bolduc had two assists while Aubrey Fischer had one and played strong in the midfield.

Girls Volleyball

Farmington 3, Portsmouth Christian 2

The Eagles (1-3) came back from two sets down to force a fifth, but couldn’t pull out the win. Game scores were 26-24, 25-15, 19-25, 23-25 and 15-10.

Lindsey Hatfield had 10 kills, six aces and 20 digs to lead PCA, while Joey Skubisz had eight kills and four aces. Josie Hewitt added six kills and Bella Ouellette had 30 assists and three aces.

Maddy Kniphfer had 26 digs and Liahna Messier had 17 digs while Lauren Vincent recorded three blocks.
