Around the Granite State: Wednesday’s Roundup
Jaelyn Kelleher scored two goals to help the Concord High School girls hockey team to a 3-0 win over Souhegan in the Division I opener for both teams.
Kelleher netted both goals in the second period, while Erin Doherty opened the scoring 4:21 into the frame for the Crimson Tide (1-0). Kaitlyn McKinnon, Maria Armaganian and Nicole Jones each had an assist for Concord, which plays at Bishop Brady-Trinity-West on Saturday.
Souhegan goalie Ellie Byram made 30 saves in the loss for the Sabers (0-1), who will host Bedford on Saturday.
