Ella Reeners scored two goals to help the Windham High School field hockey team to a 4-1 over Londonderry in the Division I quarterfinals on Friday.

Reeners tallied both goals in the first quarter off penalty corners, with Ava Sanchez and Ava Pelletier getting assists. Aly Sinopolo and Sophia Ponzini also had a goal apiece for the No. 2 Jaguars (15-1-1).

Sedona Lee also recorded an assist and Dana McAleer played well in goal for Windham.

The Jaguars will now face No. 3 Bishop Guertin in the semifinals Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Bill Ball Stadium in Exeter.

No. 4 Exeter 4, No. 5 Pinkerton 1 

Elsa Bishop scored three goals and the Blue Hawks advanced with a win over the Astros.

Bishop scored twice in the second quarter to give Exeter (12-4-1) the lead and Allyson Regan also had a goal for the Blue Hawks. MarLie Macek made four saves.

Natalie Paradzick had the lone goal for Pinkerton (10-5-2) and Elise LeBlanc made 12 saves.

Exeter moves on to the semifinals, where it will face No. 1 Dover at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Bill Ball Stadium in Exeter.

No. 1 Dover 4, No. 8 Bedford

Audrey Carter had two goals and an assist to help the Green Wave roll past Bedford.

Hannah Deroy opened the scoring for Dover (16-0-1) just 4:10 into the game and Carter made it 2-0 with 1:44 to play in the opening frame.

Carter made it 3-0 in the second and then assisted on a goal by Gabrielle Anderson to finish out the scoring in the third.

Football

Bedford 38, Thornton Academy 7

Danny Black threw for three touchdowns to help lead the Bulldogs to a win over the Trojans from Saco, Maine.

Black was 12 of 13 passing for 289 yards and threw touchdown passes to Brody Helton (three catches, 67 yards), Luke Soden (four, 73) and Dom Tagliaferro (one, 78). Helton also had 69 yards rushing and a touchdown on seven carries while Black also had a rushing score.

Dylan Soden added a 26-yard field goal, Bennett Matthews had an interception on defense and Jake Benn blocked a punt for Bedford (7-0, in D1, 8-0 overall).
