Bedford boys cruise past Souhegan

The Bedford High School boys tennis team swept Souhegan Monday, 9-0, in a Division II match.

Mark HoSang, Myles Utell, Jim Delahunty and Taylor Summerville each won their match by an 8-0 count for the Bulldogs (3-0). Bedford has won all three of its matches this season without a loss in singles or doubles.

HoSang won the No. 1 match, beating Nick Poulack, while Utell knocked off Liam Murphy in the No. 2 match and Delahunty beat Nate Redington at No. 3. Bedford’s McKinley Grimes won the No. 4 match, 8-3 over Matt Protzmann, and Summerville took the No. 5 match over Alex Paquin. Steve Troy defeated David Monleon 8-3 in the No. 6 match.

HoSang and Utell won the No. 1 doubles match, beating Poulack and Redington 8-1, while Grimes and Foley took the No. 2 match, 8-4 over Murphy and Protzmann. Delahunty and Summerville defeated Ben Bacher and Jason Emmond 8-2 in the No. 3 doubles match.
