Bedford boys, girls basketball pick up wins over Concord

The Bedford High School boys and girls basketball teams came away with wins over Concord on Friday, with the boys winning 89-57 and the girls taking a 63-27 victory.

In the boys game, Bedford outscored Concord 28-6 in the second quarter after the game was tied at 22. Troy Meservey led the Bulldogs (1-0) with 29 points while Liam Greene and Max Chartier had 13 points each. Nolan Anderson was also in double figures with 10 points. Concord (0-1) got 20 points from Tyler Blodgett.

The Bedford girls moved to 3-0, getting points from 13 different players. Jenoyce Laniyan led the way with 13 points while Amanda Jonas and Aly Fillion had eight each. Concord got 10 points from Ashley Kelley.
