Bedford edges out Pinkerton to take top spot in preseason New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Football Coaches Poll

The Bulldogs were the top team for every week, except for the final poll of 2024, and to start the 2025 season, Bedford is once again No. 1 in the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Football Coaches Poll.
Bedford received 10 first-place votes to take the top spot, while Pinkerton, the defending Division I champ and the team that ended last season at No. 1, came in second, getting six first-place votes.
Nashua South was a near-unanimous choice for No. 3, while Londonderry, the runner-up in D1 last season, came in at No. 4. Exeter rounded out the top five, coming in just behind the Lancers, while Salem ended up at No. 6.
Bishop Guertin opens the year at No. 7 while Souhegan, the defending Division II champions, came in at No. 8 as the only D2 team in the top 10. Manchester Memorial takes No. 9 and Windham takes the No. 10 spot in the poll to begin the year.

The coaches poll is voted on by football coaches from around the state and members of the media. The next poll will be out on Sept. 8 and will be updated every Monday throughout the regular season.
